Ultimate British Air Tree: A Project to improve the UK Tech Tree (V3.1 OUT NOW!)

Fair enough, though still makes the tree bigger 😜

something like this would prolly just be the definitive version of warthunder, the thing is, litteraly every minor nation will be ignored.

Literally every nation would get this before Britain even got something half the size

italy, france, china, and maybe japan or sweden, all have way less then the uk, i ment to say, only the ussr, germany, and ofc the usa actually get attention

Yes but they (the Sh!tty Snail) will still find a way to ruin Britain

I’m trying to scan the tree to see if it’s there, but is the F-111K there? It was passed for consideration, so it could be added despite not being fully built

Also there’s the trialed hornet but that’s not really something the UK needs

If i remember when the F-111C was added Smin said that due to demand for the F-111K in the UK tree, but due to it never being properly built, we got the F-111C instead when being forced to defend it’s placement in the British tree

Ah, quite a shame.

Well if it passed, that should mean it’s still on the table right (not a premium/event please not a premium/event please not a premium/event please not a premium/event please not a premium/event please not a premium/event please not a premium/event please not a premium/event please)

hey if we have the bf-109s at rank I, won’t it be interesting for the early versions of the hurricane and spitfire. I really like how those early version of famous fighers look like the P-40, P-38 or the afomentioned 109
Spitproto
hurri proto
I think maybe both of them could go to rank I maybe as premiums like the rest

  • the spitfire is mentioned on the loading hints
" * The first series of Spitfires used twin-bladed wooden propellers, but from the 74th aircraft on, three-bladed metal propellers were used instead."

Both of the ones you have shown, are the prototypes of the respective planes. Where i am not even sure if they were armed.

The Spitfire prototype have the following in regards to its history:

FF 5-5-36 AAEE 26-5-36 trials Supermarine 16-6-36 AAEE 1-7-36 install Merlin F and armament AAEE 23-2-37 force-landed with engine problems Sutton Suffolk 22-3-37 riw AAEE 25-10-37 overshot landing and tipped up Martlesham Heath 15-3-38 ros u/c leg collapsed on landing Martlesham Heath 23-3-38 Supermarine for repair and mods AAEE 27-7-38 RAE 7-11-38 engine tests Stalled on landing and overturned Farnborough 4-9-39 pilot killed

While it does say “install Merlin F and armament”, there is no mention of what the armament is.

For the Hurricane, there is no mention what so ever about any kind of armament.

DTD at Hawker 5-11-35 AAEE 2-36 Hawker 4-5-38 AAEE 10-12-37 RAE 1-3-38 Hawker AMRD 4-5-38 To 1211M 2SoTT 14-1-39 FH153:25

However, an early production of the Hurrican Mk I, would be possible, because the Hurricane Mk I we have ingame are all of later production, since some of the early production of the Hurricane had a 2 bladed propeller.

mmmm what a shame…

I have read an interview by RAF armourer and he said that Hispano mk2 and 5 were easily interchangeable on all aircrafts due to having the same mount, are there any documents to solidify this claim? Im thinking of suggesting a modification to swap hispanos on Tempest V to mk2s like how yak-9s can choose between 37 and 45mm nose gun.

I already have pictures of tempest V mounting mkIIs just need to prove that the one we have in game (which looks like a mashup between serie 1 and 2 to me) is capable of swapping the mk5s out too

What i could find

If not, would it be good to suggest a folder Tempest V series 1/prototype with hispano IIs, i just prefer mk2s over 5s and learned that it was added back in the old days with mk2s

Would be good for the Spitfires and Meteors.

While prototype spit was likely unarmed, an early Mk.1 with 2 bladed wooden prop and square canopy would be nice even if just prem or event.

I am not sure, if they have been mentioned yet, but it looks like there is a lack of float plane variant of the Spitfire in the tree you made.

The Spitfire Float planes I have found, are the following ones:

They must be destroyed before anyone finds them

Yeah, it’s too late for my mental health but we can still stop others from finding out. Wish I could unsee this though, it’s way too cursed for a human mind

Currently, great britain tech tree lack lightweight aircraft piston engine BR 6.0 ~ 6.3 (RAF, RN, RAAF & RCAF).

Lack Royal Navy Interceptor aircraft/Night fighter (BR 4.7 ~ 6.0) and the early 1st gen turbojet aircraft from RAF, RN & RAAF (BR 5.0 ~ 7.0)

Were there any differences with export model NF Meteors?
