Ukraine Ground Forces Tree

Khorunzhyi APC

  • Expect to see these in more numbers equipped with Parus or Spys Combat Modules soon.
  • I also expect to see more Ukrainian developments of IFV/APC’s now at this stage and possibly new modifications to existing MBT’s.

And i’m gonna say it again you are just spewing the same stupid and invalid argument over and over like every other bot who keeps posting this argument. You keep claiming copy paste while completely ignoring the unique vehicles that have nothing to do with Russia or the ussr. Then There’s the vehicles we’ve been posting about the past few days. How is something like the inguar-7 or OTAMAN copy paste?.

Even if we remove the “copy paste” vehicles Ukraine will still have plenty of unique vehicles to make an independent tech tree. Yet you’ll probably just continue to ignore it while shouting copy paste. Because god forbid anyone else inherit the Soviet design doctrine if they just so happen to not be Russian. Now here’s some cold hard facts every single vehicle built and developed in Ukraine after the collapse of the USSR ARE NOT RUSSIAN OR SOVIET.

BM Oplot zr. 2000 ‘Мурчик‘

Video of the BM Oplot zr. 2000 ‘Мурчик’ in service with 3rd OTBr.

A still image of the vehicle. The image was posted earlier.

  • The ‘named’ version will be a premium or event vehicle similarly to the IS-2 No. 321, IS-2 ‘Revenge’, or the M1A1HC ‘Click-Bait’ in the updated tree.
  • ‘Мурчик‘, or ‘Murchyk’, translates to ‘Little Purr’, and is a popular name for cats in Ukraine.
  • The vehicle has a cat painted on the barrel, opposite of the name ‘Мурчик‘.

How about America getting the T-90. Reason why I am bringing this up has nothing to do with what is happening in real life. Creating a nation like Ukraine with frankenstein type weapons and access to all equipment would leave others way behind and makes it fun for those that choose to play it but other nations never get this ability. That is what I find unfair, look at Italy for example they get a Hungarian tech tree, Germany gets Soviet equipment, France gets Benelux and Sweden:Finland. What about USA, what do they get only American vehicles, the Soviets only Soviet:Russian , Japan:Japanese weapons maybe Korea in the future.
Israel which is my latest nation to grind only gets variety at lower brs. then stuck with Merkavas and nothing else. If gajiin is to do Frankenstein then all nations should get it, regardless of who got what in real life. I am not aware of the state of the 2a6 and the cv90s can comment there, though supposedly cv90 and some Bradley’s are working based on channel videos. Not an expert so cant comment there again.

What about it (assuming US will ever get that tank)?

  1. We all perfectly know what specific T-90A may be the premium, we all seen was in working condition and US doesn’t have shortage of ammunition or spare parts for it.
  2. Will most likely have UA operator flag (see Merkava’s)
  3. Perfectly fits USA meme tank theme for premium vehicles (M1 KVT, “Click-Bait”)
  4. Will most likely sell great as not many tanks got worldwide news coverage and recognition just as wide as this specimen had.
  5. It’s worse than regular T-90A in soviet tree as it doesn’t have thermal sights, only night vision.

Now if we are going to add burned out inoperable scrapmetal that doesn’t have any sustainable supply of ammo, then I’m sure we can safely add Ka-52 and Pantsir-S1 into Ukrainian tech tree as well. Especially because trophy Pantsir-S1 was at least used as anti drone AA. And we can replenish its rockets via magical portal - that’s how it works, right?

It was never confirmed by Gaijin, only by dataminers, and you can’t reallu trust 80% of them
And if it was, let’s compare:
USA got a fully working T-90A(which was even rewieved by one of Ukraine’s tank operators) and supposedly T-90M (which was captured by the armed forces unit of the same tankman) , not a heavily gamaged CV-90, i think 5 damaged Bradleys and burnt out Leopard2A6/M1A1SA-UKR
Can’t compare it to fully working virtually any T-series tank with countries who can provide ammunition, parts and maybe even maintenance, are you?

Is that a problem? Gaijin adds everything everywhere so i doubt it

If we take premiums and event vehicles into account there is i think vehicles from 3 nations in USA TT and 2 in soviet

USA, Germany and USSR/Ru have enough of their own things to add, while Italy does not, if you want to add modern stuff (such as SPAA which is long time asked for) you can expect cries of absolute agony from soviet players who would suffer even with all current buffs and cry about ItO-90’s supremacy over Pantsir (recently had this claim handed to me again by USSR main)

One T-72M1 which you can literally add in every TT, same with T-80U if you are creative enough

I have read through all this and I am of the opinion that everything can go in the Soviet tree, because the Soviet Union was multi-ethnic, making these ethnic groups with their current nation states after the disintegration of the Soviet Union and foundation of the CIS an separately one tree seems obsolete to me.
no hard feelings

Well on the US part having enough especially top tier level, with all these underperforming Abrams tanks and one hstvl , I mean that is not enough equipment to properly compete with the German Leo series or Soviet lineups. Look at Adats cant compare it to pantsir when it comes to aa duties. Abrams vs Leo and T-series not really a comparison.

Plus look at it from the fun perspective, if one nation gets Frankenstein i think they should add it to others. (Not all the same) As for the burnt out equipment, captured and what not that’s real life. I am referring to gaming aspect of it.

Otherwise the vehicle set up created and the proposed tech tree, looks fun to me, so you will get a t-90, t-80 oplot plus 2a6 and pantsir, what about su25 will it gets some western long range missiles like the sm3.

Its fun to play but I think its op.

Su-24 got Storm Shadow, but this is a cruise missile that not really has any place in this game. I am still waiting for Su-25M1 or M1K with some missile like Maverick or similar

Only because they are literally have no DU armour and even a little bit similar armour composition to the real Abrams. Only realistic armour composition i’ve seen in this game so far is T-72B/90A/90M turret armour package

How do you know this info, so the turret of 90m is true that it has more than 850mm of armor against kinetic rounds, including Oplot tank I assume? Did you actually see them? I have always taken info from thunder with a grain of salt.

I could see people complaining about this tree like they did China. A lot of the vehicles are just Russian vehicles with slightly different modifications done.

I also feel with the current climate it would bring a lot of hostility to the game which would not be favourable.

Maybe in the future, but I don’t feel like it belongs right now.

You can’t compare 1988 and 2010-2018 year systems, yes. now give USA and other countries some modern and comparable SPAA and see soviet mains cry like a little babies

I know armour composition of T-72 - T-90 tanks, and it is not really a secret information

In reality no, the armour composition is same from T-72B up to T-90M, amount of protection is fery different if you lok at different angle (not like in WT where we have the same efficiency on any angle) , also by currently known information, Relict ERA does not really work well against modern KE rounds, similar to Kontakt-5 which can only explode when hit with old and thick APFSDS(3BM22 for example)

It has different armour composition and looks like has thicker frontal armour on the turret, also ERA works against KE rounds, and it’s proven

Thank you for your feedback.
Finally people are saying constructive criticism and not just say “it’s clones, i say no”
