Ukraine Ground Forces Tree

They’re still in the USA, they were seen as late as 2021.

I’m only asking because I was hoping to have the slight possibility to see one of them at Moore.

That would be sick, I couldn’t tell you anything more on it sadly. They’re likely stored somewhere outside near one of the training grounds or (highly unlikely) but could be in Ukraine. If you see them, let me know!

Have you made a suggestion about this one for Ukraine?

I haven’t no, it’s in the tree as the T-80UD (Drozd APS) because that was the nomenclature of the purchase (in some cases) but it’s actually the Object 478BEM1. I wanted to but I couldn’t verify enough information on it to do one. Like the armor and optics are the two big ones, supposedly its just K-5 but it could be Nizh-1M, it could have the Catherine-FC like the 1999 model or its just a passive-IR sight.

If anyone wants to make one though, it’s fair game. I may make one down the line when I can verify more specs.

I believe I’ve written about ERA of this specific tank and that information which was provided to me says that there was one of the first series of Nizh ERA.

I only have to see that it is fluffy

Can you provide the source again if you don’t mind? As well as anything else you may have? I’m seriously considering doing a post on it.

Our luck it would be a US Tree event vehicle lol.

I don’t think I’ve saved the link to this information, but I will for sure look for it

Would be nice to see because it has even higher grounds for being an event vehicle than some Merkava for example

Yeah it does, it’s actually in use with the U.S. Army for training. It’s still in use, I can’t say the same though for the other 3x but the Droz-d one is.

I just remembered the gaijin rules about sources and according to them it would not be credible enough. But what can I say for sure that cases for explosive reactive armor or same as for Nizh but not Kontakt 5

Can you DM them to me? I’ll look and see if I can find something comparable or just use it anyway and have them finish the leg-work lol.

Also, do you know anything on the sights by chance? I think they’re not the Catherine-FC yet.

I remember sending the text from that source to you in Discord:

All 478du9s were finalized before being sold to the Americans. They removed thermal imaging cameras, removed the filler armor packages and replaced them with the previous generation, the level of T-80UD of the USSR times.DZ NOZH dismantled, put in place of its first prototypes - which not even close to serial versions. Drozd, although modified in Lviv, but that under the requirements of the customer.Electronic stuffing was also replaced by NOT having in itself secrets for the U.S. Yes, the engine was left native 6TD-2 at 1200 horses.

While I’m looking for needed source, I’ve stumbled upon these photos which I haven’t seen before.
As caption says, it is celebration of 115 year anniversary of KMDB (Kharkiv Morozov Design Bureau)

Also some photos of the mighty T-84-120 from the same exhibition

Oh, and there are such … I admit! But now, thanks to allies and partners, we have the opportunity to put new stabilizers and new thermal imagers on the cars… More precisely, Matrix from allies+Trophies+modification!
We are still far from Bradley, but for close ones and 105mm guns and more, it’s really great.

Oh, let me tell you a secret. Thanks to the game, there is a new system for clearing trenches
