Also funny enough to be an event vehicle

You missed this phrase i think : “В остальном он практическим ничем не отличался от Т-80УД.” , which translates as “Otherwise, it was practically no different from the T-80UD.”

But my only question is what is the point of adding the T-80UD?
Another top tier? There was no deficiency.
It’s not marked as a premium, and as a bog standard Soviet-Era base model would it even offer anything functionally different than the T-80U?

MORE CLONES TO GOD OF CLONES !!!
HAIL THE SNAIL!!!
But anyway, it adds more stuff to the game, and i actually want one setup of 8+ variants of T-80U

The ZSU-23-M4 is also close to the Ukrainian Donets ZSU-23. Weird!

A T-84 was shipped to the US (I don’t know why they designated T-80UD)

That matters little when it was still made in the Soviet state.

no it was made in kharkov USSR

Was about to say that … a weird one actually.

Another unique T-80UD is the one bought by Pakistan from Ukraine.
Object 478BE
Its an improved model with welded turret and most probably Buran-Catherine-E thermal imaging sight
With 1000hp 6TD-1 diesel engine but some claim, that some of those T-80UDs were upgraded to the 1200hp 6TD-2E engine.
Can be added to the Chinese TT as premium or when/if Pakistan sub tree gets added there.

If the cast turret is not apparent, then can be identified by the different smoke launcher arrangement from standard T-80UD turret.

A historic fact,
Recall the first tank kill in the current ongoing conflict? It was a T-80BVM. (the decapitated turret pic of the BVM became famous early on).
Well, it seems that the BVM was taken out by none other than a BTR-4E. Likely by its RK-2S Bar’yer ATGM.
As reported by Oleksandr Pivnenko, who carried out the defense using the BTR-4Es.

All this just to say: Yea those BTR-4s are no joke.

First combat usage of M1A1SA Abrams by 47th Brigade is now confirmed 👀
Tank is additionally protected with M19 Abrams Reactive Armor Tile-1 (ARAT-1) protection.

I agree. Poland and Ukraine both have enough vehicles to work as separate tech trees.

Poland for sure

This tree would break the game seeing that this war means Ukraine would have basically everything at this point.

All their pre-22 soviet stuff then add all the Nato stuff they have received and all the additional RU stuff from capture.

Also not sure how Gaijin wants to handle things politically but having a game that puts two nations currently at war in the real world doing so in the game… if they do decide to do it, it won’t be for a long time.

On the contrary, wide variety of possible vehicles only gives devs more space for balancing and shaping the tech tree. It already has 70+ ground vehicles without any russian trophies and without any western vehicles.

if they do decide to do it, it won’t be for a long time

Again imaginary battles of 3D-modelled tanks have nothing to do with RL situation.
If anything, as independent European video game developer and publisher, company could pander to Ukrainian player base more, now that ru players have huge issues with domestic payment systems with unclear perspectives going forward.

I was thinking it would be pretty sweet if Ukraine adds one of there 30mm Combat Modules to a Strkyer APC
