This is the only reason I would be somewhat ok with Ukraine as a subtree

But the thing is neither Ukraine never had any late battleships, I think just 2 when they were a protostate in like 1919-20-21 or something. Just mid dreadnaughts

I think for Poland we can either skip the Navy (not good option) or just not have battleships. Poland coastal has more than enough and really unique stuff so we could just have coastal. For blue water we have everything up to cruisers and like 1 or 2 British cruisers. From there we can supplement battleships with guided missile cruisers (which from what I can see is already what gaijin is doing for some nations)

The only benefit Ukraine would bring in that aspect is the incomplete slava class cruiser which would be the only missile cruiser in the tree. But otherwise Ukraine didn’t really inherit anything from the USSR that Poland didn’t already have or had a similar domestic solution.

And nowadays the Ukrainian navy is coastal missile batteries and remote guided bomb boats so not really game competitive

Conclusion: Ukraine wouldn’t really help all too much for naval

I believe it might been a different stage of the ZSU-23-4M Donets seeing as from what I could see, only one Donets was made due to lack of foreign interest (and due to the poor state of the Shilka inheritance fleet, wouldn’t be considered for service).

You are mostly right but I think the Ada class corvettes and possibly the Vlodymyr Velikiy corvettes (if there’s enough info on them) plus a couple of coastal options like the P-18s would be interesting (once missile ships get good balancing).

Ukraine presented a new spaa a couple of days ago called “Shershen”

It can launch a variety of missiles - R60, R27(T), R73, R-120K Aim-9, AIM-132 maybe more but this is all I could find

There are nations with no naval in game I don’t see the problem???

Nice to see it at a full scale.

Btw, the mobile launcher has already been shown

Idk man, it feels like soviet tech tree with a blue and yellow coat of paint.

Do note the tree shown is quite outdated, not to mention some vehicles can be added later once more information surfaces.

“Quite” is a strong statement (I remember this concept image from like 3 years ago?)

Didn’t realise it was that long ago tbh, pretty crazy that the SPAA line can now have plenty more options (hopefully more gunbased tds as well?)

Eh, sadly the only unique ones are 2S22s (even tho the chasis used is of foreign origin mostly, so behold – copy-paste slop argument incoming), but that type of machines is, at best, an AI vehicle option.

There was obv an MT-LB w/ 85mm canon (a towed D-5 version) and an awakened from cryostasis ASU-85 (doubt it underwent modification/modernization).

Otherwise gunned TDs options look bleak

Unfortunate, I was maybe thinking the 2S1U to replace the 2S1 depending on how Gajin will view the export vehicles but I’m not even sure if one was made.

Well, iirc we already have a suggestion on the other MT-LB-based model for Myanmar/Burma which is different to the one proposed by UA, and there was some post in the thread that had one identified as “2S1U”, but given it was supposed to go for export to a specific country, I doubt there will be need for an extra for UA TT – unless we pull the “but we made it!” card that was used several times already (eg. Stingray, AMD.35 (PaK) etc.)
