How come this suggestion hasn’t been passed to developers? I mean there are almost 3500 messages and I bet it’s the longest forum right now. It has to be on the devs radar right?

Give it a good educated guess or check out the specific player demographic.
Because half of these messages are against it, and I will be honest Ukraine is one of the tech trees people want to see the least as the next tech tree
The forum represents a small fraction of the player base. War thunder still has a massive amount of players from Ukraine. Way larger than from most nations that are represented in the game.
It is not a demand problem.

There are always bigger fish in the sea.
Poland is still represented in the game, its tanks are spread out over multiple trees, of course I would love to see a Polish subtree/tree, but unlike them, there is not a single AFU vehicle in the game.
It also extends beyond vehicles, there are polish decals on holidays, and other such events for Poland. While there is absolutely nothing for Ukraine. They are not in the same boat.

To be honest half of these vehicles couldn’t be added anyway (the UkrSSR vehicles). Because technically they are already ingame as part of USSR tech tree, and knowing gaijin they would never allow this.
Just kinda sucks that gaijin is the owner of this game, I honest wouldn’t even want to see this ingame with how horribly gaijin would implement it.
Only post 1991 vehicles could be realistically added, and then that would just genuinely suck. Also if you really want maybe they get a FT-17 Renault from the short time they were around before being invaded by the USSR

Are you implying that it would suck with only post 1991 vehicles or that the vehicles would suck?
Because these vehicles defo wknt suck.
Also given that Ukraine operates soviet vehicles to this day I see no issue Gaijin giving it soviet T-72A’s, rare occassional T-72B’s and T-64BV’s. Same story with BMP’s. Gaijin just cant come up with anything really to not add them really.

I am talking about things like T-34. Otherwise the nation would probably be just rank 6+.
I know the later vehicles would be great, it’s just the Soviet vehicles which were used exclusively by the USSR.
Again you could my give the vehicles a UkrSSR flag, but I don’t think the Soviet ground forces operated under each republic, but rather under the whole empire.
It is just a very tough situation that the Soviet Union created for the game
