Ukraine Ground Forces Tree

A M142 HIMARS in Ukrainian use.

That smile is both terrifying and awesome I love it lol. Though I’m not entirely sure how a HIMARS system would work in war thunder.

It wouldn’t be able to sadly. Maybe some non-player controlled HIMARS vehicles off map and those players who are on the map have the ability to call on a HIMARS strike or something, idk. Kind of like Artillery Strike in-game.

Might work as artillery next to the airfield. And for Christmas, their visual models could possibly be changed to this.

Artillery that is called much more rarely than normal one, but very-very precise

Edit: There’s no crew faces that are visible and I’ve already used AI to remove the member that was. It is impossible to identify the member that has there back against the camera.

Due to certain issues and conflict, I will not be updating the suggestion any further but will continue posting vehicles in the comments section. I apologize to everyone for this. The post as it is well-covers the opportunities this tree could bring. Not to mention., Gaijin Developers have sufficient information from the post as is (including comments), discussing ideas, new vehicles, independent and sub-tree ideas, and technology developed, as well as a showing of a strong 2/3’s majority of people are in favor of the tree. On the old forum, this majority was even stronger. If anyone wants additional information on my reasoning, please pm me. I will NOT discuss why here on the open forum. I still welcome people posting there own iterations of the tree using the tool here as well as I’m happy to provide any template files I have to anyone who asks (however, credits to my design must be noted):

Thank you for everyone’s past and continued support for the tree:

I take what I said back, apparently the PRP-3 w/ B-30 turret is a more common vehicle than I thought.

Anyways, has any BTR-3E1/BTR-3DA’s been seen at all lately? Ik they should still have ten’s more at least.

Bonus BRDM-2 ‘Amulet’ anti-tank vehicle images:

  • The ‘Amulet’ combat module is a remote system developed by Luch’s Design Bureau that is equipped with 2x RK-2S/RK-2OF missiles, and a 2nd-generation thermal imager. Its standard optics have two modes of operation, a wide (4° 20x 3° 10”) and narrow (1° 15 x0° 50”) field of view which were adopted from the Stugna-P ATGM system. In this case it’s mounted on a BRDM-2 which was the original vehicle it was tested on. This BRDM-2 also had a mounted KT-7.62mm machine gun. The system has also seen adoption on HMMWV.
