Ukraine Ground Forces Tree

Whats wrong with it anyway?

They used the image of a real Su-25 pilot and an active participant in the current war from a russian military television video, the only thing that the developers changed was the camouflage pattern. Literally from the first line of Google.

The only thing missing is the decal Z on the plane.

The green face mask, represented on this decal, is not a standard part of the Su-25 pilot kit, this dude bought it separately to hide his identity and avoid persecution.

I share your opinion and recognize Gaijin’s policy as unfair towards Ukrainian equipment, however:

I want to add that this weapon was also added for balance reasons. The first glide bombs with satellite navigation guidance were added in update 2.39 for China (LS-6 250, and only for China). Then they were added to the Americans (GBU-39/B (SDB I)) in update 2.41. Now they have been given to the soviets/russians in the form of FABs with UMPK because there were no soviet analogues. Maybe I’m wrong so please correct me if something doesn’t make sense.
Still, in general, I agree: in the sum of all the added (and not added) elements to the game, in particular to the TT of the same ussr, we can say that the developers have a negative attitude towards Ukrainian armored vehicles and equipment in general.
But still, I would not reject the potential of Ukrainian equipment in the game.
If the developers really didn’t want to introduce such equipment into the game, they would have said about 6 years ago that they weren’t interested in it and we would have seen much more Russian equipment in 2022-24 (I’ve seen many russian-speaking players drooling over the T-80BVM obr. 2023 and the T-90M obr. 2023 because they have a “good” reverse gear and generally better armor but half or all of this is fiction).

GROM-2, which is already in the game

They are drooling over anything that russia produces and think that it is the best equipment in the world

Both statements are false lol
More dense coverage in ERA - yes, but quality of tanks decreased and ERA is mostly old Kontakt-1

In the post for the Pakistani T-80UD (478BE), doesn’t even say where it came from… 👀

On a side note, a welcome addition nonetheless.

Yea where did it come from?

Ukraine during the 90’s. Here’s the suggestion that was made that breaks it down well:

Why the eff they didnt model the Object 478BE-1 variant?
The one with the unique welded turret, that actually is the more numerous variants (285 no.) within Pakistan’s inventory and not this one (only initial 35 no.)?
They just copy pasted the already existing T-80UD with thermal mod?

These two images have the proper angle and the rubber flaps removed to illustrate properly:

The Object 478BE-1 may be a squadron vehicle or something while this one is the event? Idk.

Yup.
Ukrainian export tank showed to us as “pakistani modification of T-80UD MBT”
At the same time Israeli export plane is specified as Israeli export plane.

According to Gaijin, Pakistan magically conjured up a couple hundred T-80UDs and slapped a thermal sight in them.

Like they appeared out of thin air

I voted other for the 2nd and 3rd polls, it could start at rank 3 as the Ukrainian SSR as it was in the early 50s with its very limited independence before transitioning to modern day Ukraine, that way it gets access to both eastern and western weapon systems

New SPAAG just dropped. HMMWV fitted with a GSh-23 autocannon. Unfortunately, the angles of all available photos I can find don’t make it clear if it’s a full GSh-23L with two barrels or a specially-made single barrel variant. The latter is more unlikely, so I’ll just assume it has two barrels. While the GSh-23L and ZSU-23-2 are the same caliber, the former can reach an insane 3400RPM while the latter only hits 2000RPM. The HMMWV is also a much faster and smaller platform. That being said, it still has exposed gunners and overall less armor than the MT-LB. It’d also burn through ammo much faster and probably couldn’t carry as many reloads.

I think this guy could be a nice gap filler between the MT-LB-T-23-2 and more protected BTR-94.

Which part of “no photos of soldiers” is not clear for you?

At the moment I don’t understand. I hid the soldiers even though on the topic there are more than 10 photos with soldiers who are in a theater of operations.

The T-80UD 478BE at the very least could be getting the domestic Naiza DU APFSDS, it would be the best kinetic penetrator China would have if modelled correctly.
