Ukraine Ground Forces Tree

Controversial. After each Wooee" came “Dooouh#”
THB would be one of the hardest lineups to add
there are nuggets indeed

If only They (devs and related rant)
manage to create the separate sub-trees under a main tab/branch connected
As Hungary inside Italy but under separate tabs/buttons (another one, not as the current ones)

Oor even – more mods for cans – so you can pickup the specific one or even combine for separate GE-fee
but it could initiate an avalanche work

It seems something similar was suggested a long time ago on this forum. I can’t find the exact post, but there definitely was something with explanations and example images.

Not really at least for the ground tree anyway Ukraine has a lot of unique ground vehicles so even if we remove some of the “copy paste” vehicles there will still be enough for a whole tree.

Sweden (neutral since Napoleonic Wars) sending the worst possible APC to a active war in east Europe:

To be honest some countries are just sending old garbage.

i dont think a sub tree will ever work for this nation without completly obscuring USSR and germany again (see benelux sub tree, hungarian sub tree and sweeden very original tanks at top tier) and the only feasible option for these tanks becoming a thing is making them event exclusive (or premiums…) since most of the vehicles shown are very small or not very important enough modifications like T-72 or T-62 with kontakt-3 or relikt

Relatively old for this conflict…For example, the most massive T-64BV thermal imager on the same matrix as the Sosna-U sight, a satellite data exchange system, a digital radio station…The most massive T-80BV (Russia) does not have all this…and so for each type of weapon, you can, if you wish, analyze the equipment yourself…

Tbf the late Pbv 302s they sent are a straight upgrade to the M113 in every single way and dare I say it one of the best cold war APCs. It’s major flaw is that APCs as a concept was made obsolete by the IFV.

Oh Yes!!!

Just fit it into Russian tree, I really don’t see any reason to make this into another tree

its crazy how anyone could think it goes anywhere eles…
The tech-tree is called USSR. So all USSR equipment and former USSR nations belong in it.

Yeah, just because there’s a ongoing war between them doesn’t means Gaijin can’t merge vehicle into those tree, just look at China tree

there is nothing modern about their SU-27 and MIG-29. we dont need anouther copy paste nation, and on top of that we dont need the politics

It’s not an APC, it was very explicitly designed as an IFV. Doctrinally speaking, it was used essentially the same as the Strf 9040 today. That’s why it has a 20 mm autocannon and hatches for mounted fighting. Converting the M113 into an IFV in a manner somewhat reminiscent of the YPR-765 was also considered but a purpose designed vehicle was found to be more suitable. Pbv 301 is also an IFV for that matter. Issue is the Swedish term pansarbandvagn doesn’t make a distinction between APCs or IFVs, hence the confusion

I would love other nations to be represented in the game, more nations more longevity and different options

that’s why i love ukrainian ground forces and polish forces

No thank you, just look at Israel tree those endless Patton and Merkava, adding more independent tree will just make those tree uninteresting like Israel tree, the best option is still adding as a subtree like Israel should added as US subtree
