Ukraine Air Force Tree

Also Ukraine does operate block 15s

As an idea, Jas 39, F16, and Mirage 2000 should be added to ussr under Ukrainian flag

EU/imf loans, grants and all that, and the US alone gave around $54bn in financial aid as of August 2025, that alone can cover multiple such Gripen deals

But it’s possible that this same deal will be done in several installments as well

Not just block 15.
ADF(as crew training prob) and MLU

Bro it’s copy paste.

Interesting, could see a new variant of the R-60MK?

They’re being worked for ground launch but many components are being swapped to new digital systems which could improve performance for them in general when attached to Mi-24’s, MiG-29’s, etc.

One thing I’d like to point out the tree that’s pretty easy to overlook is that a lot of these aircraft don’t use just regular Soviet munitions. A lot of these aircraft have been integrated with 250 Hammer bombs that we love getting domed by in-game, HARM missiles, Storm Shadows, indigenous Ukrainian glide bombs, Western Glide/LGB’s, and more. For example a lot of people really like vehicles like the T-72M2 Moderna, etc. for the integration of both east and west technology but that’s essentially what this is as well.

In summary, a lot of these aircraft look like copy and paste but they will offer new munitions, new cockpits/MFD’s, and new sensors/RADAR’s that will differentiate from baseline aircraft

When do you guys think this game will be ready for this?

i think people are forgetting that Ukraine does not necessarily need to be its own tech tree

adding Ukraine as its own tech tree faces some difficulties such as vehicle deficit or controversy from players.

As a way to address this i made a somewhat realistic Ukrainian Sub-Tree which focuses on Ukrainian modification of planes which 1. makes it feel less like a copy paste tech tree 2. bring some variety to the game. 3l. it can be added to any current/future tech tree

Issue is there’s still a few of the unique planes that are missing.

Also I thought the Yak 52 didn’t have attached armament and it was the crew using thier own guns to attack drones

Even though it doesn’t have attached armament, historically the yak 52 can carry rocket pods, internal weaponry, and camera pods which in my opinion will make it one of the greatest prop CAS planes in the game

Yes I know these aren’t seen on the Ukrainian yak 52 but this armament would be added to make this plane game compatible

Many people don’t realize that Ukraine have existed for centuries and not since 1991

This bring us to the fact that Ukraine operates biplanes and a Ukrainian tech tree does not have to limit itself to only top tier planes

They used quite a few WW1 aircraft from both the including some taken from the Central Powers after the Armistice, stuff like the Nieuport 11, 21, 23, 27, Sikorksy S-16, Sopwith Camel, Sopwith 1 1/2 Strutter, SPAD S.VII, Vickers FB.19, Fokker D.VII, and even early Sikorsky Ilya Muromets heavy bombers.
