UHT gaming

Today I brought you a fun little game that we all can play, called “Guess what it’ll do?”. You are all welcome to play and create your own guess-cards. I think anyone who played PARS/SPIKE - has at least some in their screenshot folder.
I’ll start.

Situation: 2xPARS 3 LR missiles are being launched. The target is BUK’s radar module. Strangely both missiles hit almost the same spot. Here’s it is:

Spoiler

You might think that it’s the same launch, but I insist. Those are 2 different missiles.
And now for the game.
WHAT – IT – WILL – DO – ??
But before the grand reveal - I want you to take a look at the footage generously provided by MBDA Missile Systems themself. I’ll put a timestamp so you could see the impact without spending too much time - HERE ← Video Link.
.
.
.
And now the grand reveal!!! Are you nervous? Me too, me too. I’m so excited. Uuuh.
Here’s what it did both times.

Spoiler

“WOW!” - you’d probably think and you’ll be absolutely correct! Fantastic! Splendid! I put in hard work of playing the defenceless helicopter that can be basically sneezed out of the sky, put in evasion/agility work and I was rewarded indeed! What a formidable outcome, bra-a-vo!

Now back to being serious.
Are you for real? It choses a random point on a tank, but you managed to screw up it’s model so bad that missile had to chose the same spot twice? And it did literally ze-ro, sheesh, none damagewise? Maybe the time has come to ungimp the PARS? Out of all new current helicopters with FnF - it’s the most fair one, why it has to suffer doublefold? Why can’t gaijin ever think about consequences of their own actions, shouldn’t there be at least one human being in the room who would say “Wow, hold up, you know that might bring some new problems”? Oh wait, there was, but only when it came down to giving NATO some FnF munition that soviets don’t have an analogue for.
This thing is sitting at 13.0, you somehow decided to compare it to mi-28nm, hell, even apache? Pay some attention to the stuff you’re affecting with your decisions, hire a guy who would draw you a “consequence tree”, brainstorm it at least for god’s sake.
And ungimp PARS 3 LR, it was balanced according to previous state of ground/heli affairs, they have changed completely since then.
Fix loft for NATO FnF munition as well.
Unfun, unfair - yea, we know. We also know that you don’t care, so get it moving already.

HEAT warhead being HEAT warhead doing things that HEAT warhead shouldn’t do but it does, in War Thunder. I’m sincerly hoping that with AGM-179 and LMUR in-game, Gaijin fixes Spike-LRs and PARS missiles. Although light attack anti-tank missiles, their behaviour is simply so bad.

war-thunder-skill-issue

The crappy heat warhead would be alleviated with a currect loft pattern, but nah a missile designed to attack turret roofs should have to hit their front, while LMUR gets the roof-centred coding all to itself

Wanna hear a funny? French PARS slinger is still 12.3 :=========DD

Because it’s French. UHT absolutely stronger

UHT doesn’t fit for its BR, absolutely clear. It needs possible improvements or change it with another helicopter…

No, no, wanna hear an even funnier funny?
French one is absolutely stronger than German one. You can mount mistral missiles and dumb rockets on outside pylons with French one :=====D
Ofc they already fixed it on the dev, but the thing itself happening and isn’t being fixed for so long is pretty funny.

I know just use “sarcasm”

Yea, I put it for ones who might not know this fun fact.

Today I brought you a really cool NOT ONE, but TWO rounds.
First - another BUK, different game, long since the last one.

You said nothing? - WRONG. upon impact missile did a 180 degree turn and HEAT jet went outwards xdd. At least this time the radar is pissed on.

Round two. This time a UHT’s beloved Pantsir.
I’ll expand a game a bit, before opening next spoiler - guess how many shots it took to kill a pantsir?

Thank you for participating today, hope you had some fun. Sure as hell I didn’t.

Let’s get the lofing profile of Western AGMs fixed once in for all.

https://community.gaijin.net/issues/p/warthunder/i/0EfDA6sXcBok

The awful kill potential of PARS and Spike can be fixed by changing a few lines of code, top attack makes a world of a difference and Gaijin should stop pretending they couldn’t fix it before.

This is how it should be, no going for machine guns, no drivers hatch or cupolas and tracks, RNG module tracking BS needs to go in favor of center mass tracking. The only way to get PARS and Spikes to loft properly is by forcing them to come down at a steep angle and it makes a huge change in the kill potential.

Lol thats funny (i actually would expect it to be the other way around since french stuff usually needs to be at a higher br compared to equivalents from other nations) but no, the french EC-665 HAC (which even has mistrals with higher g overload, but faster, so probably pulls the same, measly nato ir missile g’s but at least is faster, with much more tnt equivalent and 1 km higher range) is actually 12.3…How that’s possible…well probably no one knows

I have seen enough.

Make UHT the same BR as Mi-28NM and make spawning with PARS3s as expensive as LMURs.
