Type90 is one of the most unfun tanks to play

I also don’t enjoy playing the Type 90 and Type 90B, but I haven’t spaded them yet. Each match ends too quickly because of one-death leavers.

I bought talismans for the Type 16 and ICV during the sale, and they’re much more fun to play at BR 9.7. It’s not hard to penetrate enemies and get kills, and at that BR, many opponents still lack speed and good thermal optics compared to the Japanese vehicles. I managed to finish grinding the Type 10, TKX and TKX (P) really quickly using them.

In a city map, full uptier and not played this thing for months.

It’s a skill issue.

Kinda wild that you’re saying the Type 90 is bad… if used right, all 3 are VERY potent vehicles. Just can’t expect to charge straight in and eat shots.

They rely on ambush tactics and getting first and effective shots off. Which their high speed, high depression (When using hydro) and extremely fast reload allow it to excel at.

DM/JM33 won’t be lol-penning anything, but can easily pen all the same areas most other (higher pen) darts can. Only thing it starts to really struggle with is 122s. But that’s true of many actual 12.0-12.7s as well.

The Type 90 is the obligatory high skill ceiling glass cannon. It will NOT hold your hand like a T-series, but if you play well you will crush just about anything with ease. For a good player, it is much better than most other tanks at it’s tier. Less forgiving, more rewarding.
