Type 89 I-Go Ko (early) (八九式中戦車甲型)
Today I present to you the Type 89 I-Go Ko (early), which was created in 1931 and was produced until 1933. The number of early production version Type 89 I-Go Ko tanks is not known. These tanks were used in China in 1932 during the Shanghai incident, along with pre-production Type 89 I-Go Ko and Renault NC, and also in 1937.
History
In 1931, after completing 5 pre-production Type 89 I-Go Ko tanks armed with 37 mm Type 11 model 1922 guns (in War Thunder, they can be found on the Soukou-Tei ship), serial production of the Type 90 57mm tank gun was started, thereby enabling the serial production of Type 89 I-Go tanks. Compared to the pre-production models, the serial tanks had a modified turret, in which two hatches were installed instead of a single large entry hatch. On January 28, 1932, the incident in Shanghai began, where the Japanese sent Renault NC tanks and Type 89 I-Go tanks from both pre-production and production series into battle. In Shanghai, the tanks with 57 mm guns, which had a good elevation angle, and faced no Chinese armored or anti-tank weapons, performed very well. Satisfied with the results of the new tank, the Japanese continued its production, and in 1932, they modified the I-Go tanks by introducing new tracks with better off-road performance. At the end of 1932, the Japanese, after experiences with the field use of Type 89 I-Go tanks in Manchuria, decided to implement improvements. They modified the tension and support wheels for the tracks, but the biggest modification was the modification of the front armor plate (the hull of the Type 89 I-Go tank with the new front armor plate is in the game). This tank was introduced in 1933 with the old turret of the Type 89 I-Go version. But that is already material for another suggestion. Early production version Type 89 I-Go tanks were still used in 1937 during the Second Sino-Japanese War. It is unknown how many Type 89 I-Go tanks of the early version were produced.

Construction description
The early Type 89 I-Go Ko compared to the Type 89 I-Go Ko from War Thunder is very different. I will try to present all the differences here.

  1. The front hull armor at the height of the fenders has a vertical plate, and below it, an angled one.
  2. Two reflectors were installed on the sides of the vertical front armor plate
  3. The tank turret has a more cylindrical shape, with a characteristic commander’s observation dome.
  4. The early production Type 89 I-Go does not have a tail for crossing trenches.
  5. The hatch in the front hull plate is two-part.

Summary
Type 89 I-Go (early) is an interesting vehicle for Japan in War Thunder. This tank would be an interesting addition to the Type 89 I-Go from the game or could be good material for a premium tank. I encourage you to discuss in the comments and to share your own knowledge on this subject.
Finally, I apologize for the linguistic and logical errors because unfortunately English is not my main language and I had to use google translator.

Announcement
Dear everyone, the situation isn’t quite so rosy. This suggestion, along with the I-Go prototype, are my last two suggestions. For now, I’m abandoning War Thunder.

Any plans to suggest this guy? I think it’d be perfect for a potential sub-1.0 expansion.
