The old Type 10 engine sound (shared with Type 90) should’ve stuck around, the new audio is horrible
He means that gun is needed to be angeled to the 0 degree for reloading because autoloader can’t angle no how. You can see how it work and also you can see that with cannon angling it still realods 3.5s @Make_a_wish_kid
Yeah i use a sound mod now for that reason OPEX is the best for tank gameplay it kinda makes the type 10 sound more realistic but i wish war thunder incorporated more turbo noises and higher and smoother rev ranges and such. But yeah the type 10 stock is so slow even the acceleration spaded is lack luster a t90m was some how keeping up with me from a start off acceleration 22hp/ton t90m to 27hp/ton type 10
Ahhhhh ok yeah every autoloader does that im honestly surprised gaijin hasn’t put that feature in the game be a nice little setback for using a autoloader
Also a little present for you type 10 prototype with a larger LFP 1500hp extended hull and 6 road wheels
Not a present, just longer Type 10 prototype
Armor of this hull part is unknown
It doesn’t have 1500hp as I know, just 1200hp
Theres was testing with a 1500hp engine then they ultimately decided to go with 1200hp
I’ve never seen info for 1500hp engine testing, what is the source for it?
For example we know that remade Type 10 test-bed on Type 90 hull had engine changed to 1200hp in compare to original 1500hp engine on Type 90. So I doubt about 1500hp

This is from the 2002 prototype test footage im pretty sure this was a one off prototype
It is footages of NBC teams training and had took apart later than 2002 year as I remember. First prototype of Type 10 was made since 2002~04 and it wasn’t 6 wheeled proto
All the source that i could find on it stated this was from 2002
Interesting
Could you show the source for 1500hp engine on this tank? Would be interesting to see it in game if it had this engine
Let me try to find the original source again
We got footage of type 10 firing two rounds in a row reloading in 3.4 seconds.
Ok got some info it was a 2006 prototype at camp omiya and the info was based off SATmaginze this prototype was mainly made to train crew in chemical warfare

6 wheeled hull was exactly used for suspension testing but all other with 1500hp engine and etc looks doubtful for me

My biggest issue is the tank currently sounds like a bike with a flat tire driving around and that drives me insane.
I’m hoping a transmission overhaul would fix it, but I think the Type 10 is also in need of traction and centre of gravity tweaks to make it feel less like a horse on ice.
We all know it should accelerate 1.5-2x as fast as the Type 90 too, so all gaijin needs to do is use that as their basis for modelling
ok but aside from the video and documents showing this do you have any actual proof- gajin.
or
“It’s slower because it uses the in game transmission, and no we won’t be modeling its irl transmission nor will we put in a stop gap measure to give you the tank real performance.”
