Its Thailand bought and operated, Thailand is in the Japanese TT. So it goes there. Not that hard to grasp.
Its also literally a trailer, wait for the dev stream to see if we get any new maps/mechanics, though usually* those tend to come at the later patch in the year in November time IIRC overall, so it isnt a surprise.

Because why not? They have a lot of Brit tech, a fairly Brit linked military tradition, Commonwealth links and so on. Also have a lot of unique vehicles (and before any smart blank commentary, the Indian T90 was adopted by India years before the Russians considered it (IE the 90A) and was specifically designed to Indian military requirements, they are the reason for the 1000hp engine, the welded turret, etc, came in 2nd in game, but came in first IRL).
Makes sense to be there, the main reason for their use of Russian kit is because they wanted to get the Russians on side due to their issues politically with China which decided to no longer be friendly to India during the cold war, this meant buying Russian equipment for example with other things however the decision would backfire and cause the West to limit its links for a good while, which would extend the issue (IIRC this is partly why the Marut never got its intended mach capable engines).

I can’t wait for the peak Bri’ish top tier lineup of an F-18, F-111, Abrams, Leopard 2, and Boxer! This is so much better than nasty Indian copy-paste like the Tejas or Arjun which should stay the hell away from our tree because they “just don’t fit the vibe” and no other more nefarious reason

instead of bringing the upgrade relatively soon they wait until much better alternatives are already in-game

These explanations are meaningless. There is simply a certain group of players, mainly from one country, who constantly complain that USSR vehiсles is being added to other trees.
These are just complaints, and they don’t understand the arguments.

The graphics in the trailer are excellent, it’s a pity that the game doesn’t have such a picture…
Among the interesting new features shown in the trailer are the Oplot, which will significantly diversify the gameplay for Japan, a new Italian-French SAM, a SAM for Britain and… That’s all.
This is where I have to start wondering what Gaijin’s finances look like. Why does every update has to be centered around premiums and monetization (especially recently, as the last update had what, six or seven preorders?) Why can’t we have one update a year that maybe isn’t so new vehicle heavy but is feature, mechanic, and QoL heavy? Map reworks, new mechanics or revisiting antiquated modes, etc.
Think about how long White Rock Fortress has been missing from the game. How long bombers have had placeholder cockpits. How long airfield AA options need updating. How Sim Battles have not been updated. I vaguel remember Smin answering someone on why they cant add more lines to a tech tree because it wouls break the game’s code. Why not spend time addressing that? Or look at economy improvements.
How bad is Gaijins fiancial state where vehicle micro-transactions can’t be sidelined for just one update?
