I would like to make it clear I never said we need a f14Dw/amraams to counter the su30 but used the su30 and other modern fox3 jets that are at 13.3 as justification for putting it at 13.3
And we have the ADF for that. Problem solved.
F-14D(R) are F-14A airframe that rebuild to the stadard D model. tecniqly it same as normal F-14D.

Nah SU-30 sould be 13.7 not 13.3 like F-18A sould be 12.7
Your very real plane seems to not exist at all, considering the funding to the program was completely gutted. This is like saying “wow the Germans tested and designed the Ratte, so hypothetically its real and we can add it to the game”

I mean yeah, undertiered stuff should be at a higher br. Just that using it as an excuse to add another 13.3 vehicle doesn’t work when… there’s already one, you know?

Personal i want to see AIM-7P in F-14D and fix br compression. but for AIM-120A im ok if they would add or not.
I want to mention that according to the NF-14A thread, that F-14 is still a standard F-14A, just refitted with 14D radar and missile guidance.
Though you can check out for yourself with the link i posted earlier. This is the only F-14 to have fired an amraam.

Every single document you mentioned about this F-14D(R) was mostly funding and testing related, with no mention of a real aircraft beyond a single early F-14 test bed (which we know as the NF-14A PMTC-226).
There was no integration (integration was cancelled). There was no F-14D (only tested on an F-14A). There was no funding (funding was cut). So how could your aircraft have existed?
D(R) that i mean was a service plane (18 airframes upgraded from F-14A models). In this picture it was NF-14A that are test base plane.
But these D(R) still did not carry aim-120s, did they? So this “F-14D with aim-120” remains fake. When I said fake D(R), I was referring to this hypotetical F-14D that was somehow integrated with aim-120, which as we all know does not exist.

You do still release their the same airframe and the f14D has the full tech to use aim-120A if it wasn’t for a software update to add the rest of capabilities of the AMRAAMs
Sure sounds contradicting with “cancelled integration and funding”. You’d think if it was that simple, why don’t the navy just bolt on existing aim-120s on those F-14s then?
Tecniqly F-14D need to upgared softwere too use AIM-120 but navy chose a LANTERN pod.
But for me in game logic if they decide to add KH38MT , R27 in IRAN one , APFSDS in BMPT or any thing that not make sense or historical. Or use logic if it ONLY PLAN will get it. I think the reason to add AIM-120 would be ok.
