No option yet. Also, no one has been able to make a mod to disable it yet either.
I LOVE the firework decoration, for some of my low BR tonks, HOWEVER, I am in very strong support for anyone who wishes for an option to disable/mute them etc. I especially agree that it should be given the Fictional tag IMMEDIATELY as it is very obviously NOT historical in any context.

So the mod portion i looked into myself, the physical game files for it on github aren’t on there. To make any mod gaijin has to update the github report for modders to mod them.

But yeah I tried making the mod myself to set it’s volume ot like .01% or something but yeah the physical files aren’t released yet

@ZAMUSAMU we found your bug report for the Firework decoration’s lack of the Fictional tag! I clicked that I “have the same issue”, hopefully we can get enough attention to get it fixed ASAP.

If enough people complain they’ll have to add the fictional tag… Body pillows I get being historical i’ve seen pics of close tanker friends irl having body pillows sometime so thats not outrageous to see but a loud ass explosive mortar that lets the enemy know your exact location? That’s not something that happens irl.

Posted all the info on the main Snowball Event thread. Added a link to your thread here @DexterousAlloy , asked if anyone has info for the Firework’s name in the code, so you would be able to make a mod to mute it. Also posted the link to the Bug Report. And I pinged Stona, I asked him politely if he could ask the Devs to add the Fictional tag ASAP 🙂

I dont mind looking at fictional content, in fact I like a lot of it. So making this fictional isnt enough, just delete the entire thing and sound effect entirely please.

Funny for the first 5 minutes but gets tiring hearing it, I haven’t even seen the firework effect either, just the sound.
