China, Isreal, italy has also many many c&p vehicels, planes,…
Never judge a country about his c&p you should Look about his potential to make Players happy, more new Vehicles and the joy.
C&P is something we can‘t change because every country has its C&P Vehicle.
Nobody speaks about the Strv from sweden which Are upgraded and licensed produced Leopard 2‘s. What about the Typ‘s from China they Are T-55/62‘s and Isreal ervything is C&P despite the Merkavas.
Türkiye has C&P in his lower Br.‘s, the M48/60, Leo 1/2 and some APC‘s the rest is Turkish stuff. 50% C&P and 50% Original Stuff.
When you speak about Altays Production then Look at the Soviet Prototyps which of them Never got produced. So why Not Turkish Prototypes.
In my opinion is Türkiye an better Technology Tree then Isreal and China.
It looks great. It should definitely be added. That the Turks have been a warrior race throughout history. It would be a shame not to add the Turks to such a war game. They are one of the rare warring states today.
The MIM-71 Chaparral
Introduction:
Background:
Role in Turkish Forces:
Modernization and Service:
Significance:
Since we are posting Kazakh vehicles it’s only fair to post the Barys 8x8, A licensed built variant of the Mbombe 8x8 one with a AU-220 turret and another one with a NEFER Turret
Here are few M15 MGMC images in Turkish Service from Korean War
Those T-34-85 are more likely ZIS-S-53 rather than D-5T. There T-34-85s with several different road-wheel configurations. Some might be post-war built or they were just refitted with more accessible Star-Fish road-wheel
These T-34-85s are fitted with externally dampened Dished road-wheels, hard to tell which year as there were three similar designs built in 1941, 1942 and 1944.
This T-34-85 is fitted with T-55’s Star-Fish road-wheels. This one might be post-war built or simply refitted.
The one in the front is fitted with both Start-Fish and Dished road-wheels, the one at the further back has single Spider Web road wheels though it is hard to tell if its 1942 “Half-Spider Web” or 1945 “Full Spider Web”
That being said, they all still seems to be armed with S-53 and not D-5T though there is probably someone knows better than me correct me.
Single T-55A was bought from East German surplus after the unification.
I quite certain Turkey never acquired Chappralls ever, though it was offered to Turkey but nothing came out of it as far as I’m aware.
Our stance has not changed for including non-Turkish operated vehicles. They have to be either;
Barys 8x8 although is said to be produced by KPI, it is still a regular Mbombe 8. So I do not think the one with AU-200M makes sense to add though the one with NEFER (SARP 100/25 with its new designation) might be a contender. That being said there is Arma 8x8 with SARP 100/25 so makes it kind of redundant. Irrelevant info, Arma 8x8 smoked Barys 8x8 during trails.
Will we See the M7 Priest in the New Technology Tree model with the Low Tier starting at Rank 1?
I would be very happy to see Turkey in War Thunder after all, they also have good potential for other trees such as the navy for example.
SU-25 ML (SU-25 Lacin)
This Su-25 was modernized in Azerbaijan with the help of the Turkish company “TUSAS”, in addition to Soviet and Russian weapons after modernization can now carry Turkish corrective ammunition, smart bombs, and so on, and any aircraft of the Azerbaijani Air Force can carry Israeli weapons, including the MiG-29, which carry exclusively Israeli air-to-air missiles in addition to Russian ones.
And before the modernization these aircraft participated in combat operations Su-25Ml under number 23 made 60 combat sorties of which 58 were effective and has 58 stars
Features of modernization as plane was modernized by a Turkish company the translation was made from their website and if something is written incorrectly you can correct it
New Weapon:
Teber
Ibp
Highly unlikely to be included, I have not seen any source to claim M7 was ever used by Turkish Army.
If the Turkish tech tree comes, I hope there is no C&P like the Aselpod. The Chinese pod has been called “Aselpod” even though it is Turkish
If the Turkish tree is added, it will be a very diverse tree. We will support it +1
The M18 Hellcat was used by the Turkish Armed Forces starting in the 1950s. Turkey received these tank destroyers as part of military aid from the United States after World War II. The M18 Hellcat served in the Turkish Army until the 1970s, before being gradually replaced by more modern models.
The M18 Hellcat was used by the Turkish Armed Forces primarily for defensive purposes and anti-tank operations. As a NATO member during the Cold War, Turkey deployed these vehicles particularly in border regions to counter potential threats from the Warsaw Pact.
Greek-Turkish Border: Due to the tense relations between Turkey and Greece at the time, especially during the Cyprus crisis, M18 Hellcats were stationed in border areas as part of Turkey’s defense strategy.
Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia: These regions bordered the Soviet Union (modern-day Armenia and Georgia) and the Middle East, making them strategically significant. Turkey placed anti-tank units there to defend against potential threats from those directions.
Military Exercises and NATO Maneuvers: The M18 Hellcat participated in various NATO exercises where the Turkish Army trained its defensive strategies and cooperation with NATO allies. These drills often took place in the western and central parts of Turkey.
Although the M18 Hellcat did not see significant combat during its service in Turkey, it played an important role in preparing for potential threats within the context of the Cold War.
No, that is incorrect.
Turkish Expeditionary Force were given various US vehicles to operate, and even though M16 MGMC were one of them, we did not operate any M18 in Korea or bought any.
The image you used is from a skin, where it mentions that it is “semi historical”, which is in fact not true.
The text is from ChatGPT, which is an unreliable source, as it tends to give misinformation to please the user prompt.
Overall, this information is false, Turkey did not operate any M18 Hellcats.
The MZK 105 turret has undergone further development and hence have received a new designation as MAT.
Because of the 105mm low recoil gun the turret can be installed on wheeled platforms
…does that leopard have an l55?
no wait… think its just perspective
No, Leopard 2A4T1 has no changes to it’s main armament.
Also Azerbaijani subtree could be added as well with lot’s of Soviet/Russian vehicles alongside Israeli SPAA and Pakistani JF-17’s to fill the tech tree.
Here’s a list of what could be added:
MBTs: T-72B, T-90S
Light Tanks: BMP-1/2/3, BMD-1
SPAAs: SPYDER, Barak 8, Strelas, 9K33 OSA, 9K332 Tor-M2E
Aircrafts: JF-17C Block III (Newly acquired), Mig-29S, Su-25ML (+Turkish Upgrades), Su-24
Retired Aircrafts: Mig-21, Mig-25, Su-17, Su-22
// Su-25ML Laçın (or Lachin in English)
// JF-17
// Mig-29S
We’ve actually thought about that as well, but we preferred Kazakhstan as it included more vehicles with Turkish origin.
Currently though, we cannot add any subtrees to our Ground Tree, because the tree is already on it’s “max 5 row” limit set by Gaijin for Tech Trees.
On air though, we are thinking about a possible addition of a “Central Asia” tree that involves Turkic nations, however I cannot promise anything yet.
Su-25ML-1 is already included on our planned air tree as a squadron vehicle, and we are waiting further information to be released for Su-25ML-2.
Thank you for your research, suggestions and feedbacks, have a nice day/night <3
