Yes, I want the Turkish tech tree to be added as a separate one, but we can’t get any information from WT about this, which worries me. There are reports that many new tech trees will be added to the game, yet there’s still no news about the Turkish tech tree. WT adds Cyprus to the game just to give Israel more vehicles — its inclusion is completely unnecessary and clearly a move to make Israel stronger. No matter how much we ask, WT refuses to make any statement about the Turkish tech tree, and that really concerns me.

I mean if you take a look at the possibles full TT that Gaijin can add to War Thunder, you dont have a lot. And Turkey is one of them, so i dont see why they would waste an IMMENSE opportunity to add it. The turkish one is bigger than the Polish one, the french one, and if you add subtrees its even bigger than UK and Sweden. So dont worry abt that, they will probably add it, and if they don’t talk about it, it’s probably because they’re waiting for the right moment to make a big publicity stunt.

Yeah uh, Poland has over 240 vehicles that can be added, most of which are domestic. Turkey has more than twice less.

I’m not really into comparing numbers but if we take that route I can say your numbers are way off. Especially if we are counting every single vehicle that can be added without caring if it’s necessary or not, Turkey has at least that much.
Again I would not go that route as every nation comes with its own flavor.

It would take quite a long time to list all the possible vehicles.
For now we could compare how the tech tree’s could look ike though.
Again compared to the one posted by the author of this topic Turkey seems to be smaller than Poland.
Still has some pretty cool vehicles I wont deny that and definetely a tech tree that could be added as well

Well no shit, Gaijin doesn’t really care if the vehicle is necessary. They add it because it will attract attention. Only vehicles that you could say are necessary are BR fillers.
I just have the problem with saying that Poland is smaller addition compared to Turkey, which is just plain wrong.

I mean thats is a deliberate decision we’ve made. There is no reason to bloat the tree when it is more than enough. People already played M48s, why should we force more ? Or there is already an 8-wheeler with 105mm why should we add more ? Optimising is key, not the raw numbers when there is enough of them.
Naturally, Poland had inter-war and WW2 period too, which definitely should be part of the tree if it ever gets added.
Which is my point, every nation has its own flavour. I’m in favor of adding standalone nation tech trees whenever is possible.
Well I would rather have sleek tree than a bloated one. It is not like I’m suggesting more and more vehicles, I’ve stated before not everything I’ve suggested has to make it into tree. You may or may not be aware but there is way to much stuff, not everything should be included.
So is your statement. Respective nations have enough of vehicles, no need to go on and pick each other. I would rather see standalone tree than see their stuff getting thrown around other trees.

My intention was not to create competition but simply to put things in perspective. I am 100% for the addition of a Polish tech tree, and I would be the first happy if Gaijin adds it.
If we want to see new nations added to the game, we must remain united : putting obstacles in each other’s way wont help anyone ;)
