Turkish Ground Forces Tech Tree

Pars Alpha

Thanks to the flexible interior and exterior layout of the vehicle, payloads (shot detection system, laser warning system, active protection systems) can be easily integrated depending on user demands.

Different anti-tank missile systems can also be integrated into the TEBER-II 30/40 UKK system. Two ready-to-fire anti-tank missiles are supported by a fire control system integrated into the turret. This capability makes it possible to eliminate various threats with an effective range exceeding 4 km. There is an independent remote-controlled weapon system (UKSS) on the tower with adjustable firing angles both up and down. The elevation angle of this system, which can be mounted on a 7.62mm or 5.56mm machine gun, can be used against threats at high points in residential areas (buildings, roofs, etc.) as well as against drones approaching from high angles. This system is also used as the commander’s independent vision system for “fighter-gunner” capabilities. Both the turret and the UKSS are designed to hit multiple targets simultaneously in any direction. TEBER-II 30/40 UKK has two-axis stabilization capabilities that allow target tracking and firing while the vehicle is in motion. The vehicle can also be equipped with various types of manned or remote-controlled turrets, including TEBER-II 30/40 UKK, as well as 35 mm, 90 mm, 105 mm and 120 mm weapon systems, 120 mm mortars, air defense systems and anti-tank systems.

This new layout approach significantly increases situational awareness by providing 180°+ real-time visibility for both passengers.

PARS ALPHA ensures the survival of the crew and maintains combat effectiveness in the CBRN environment, thanks to its hybrid CBRN system, which includes a positive pressure and mask type protection system.

PARS ALPHA, which has superior mobility in all types of terrain and weather conditions, combines the all-wheel drive, height adjustable independent suspension and all-axle steering system experienced in FNSS’s 8x8 vehicles with the innovative design and equal axle distribution provided by the front power pack, offering a distinctive mobility. The hydropneumatic suspension system with adjustable ride height provides easy adaptation to different terrain conditions and positively contributes to reducing the silhouette of the vehicle. With the all-axle steering system, it provides high maneuverability on the terrain with a turning radius optimized especially for residential scenarios in narrow areas. Thanks to the all-wheel drive and equal axle balance, in addition to the departure and approach angles of over 45 degrees, the vehicle can easily overcome 40 percent side slopes, 70 percent steep slopes, 2.4-meter ditches and 0.80-meter vertical obstacles.

PARS ALPHA, which can reach speeds of over 115 km/h, will be the choice of armored mechanized infantry units worldwide thanks to its power pack and features that can lock the steering system from all axles and the advanced suspension system that allows the height of the vehicle to be adjusted for the best road holding. In addition to the advantages of the suspension system, its unique design that will provide equal axle distribution allows the vehicle to continue its mission by maintaining its mobility even in the event of the loss of one of the wheels. The vehicle, which has an operational range of over 800 km, allows long-distance transfers without the need for refueling.

I don’t know what the vehicle is called but it looks like a potential Br. 1.7 vehicle for the low tier land forces of the Turkish Tech Tree Project. It was used in a landing exercise to Backup the Landforces.
