Not much different from the newbies that spend $70-80 USD on a new prem tank or plane, play the game for 2 weeks to a month and then uninstall.
I’ve also spent more money on other games that I haven’t played in years so, whether the investment is worthwhile for the fun or progress or whatever else is all subjective.

I mean I will pick top tier US over top tier Russia when it comes to tanks any day of the week personally.
I mean if the BVM or SEPv1 is better is a never ending debate, but for me the Abrams is 10x more fun than the T-series.

While ussr does seem more hand held imo. (Considering they had the best spaa for 2 years and no counterplay for the kh38 until recently.) The usa does have the better tanks in general though (At least when getting the most bang for your buck.)
But, due to the generally large less skilled player group playing both ussr and usa tanks the same. (Usually rushing in). The armor of the ussr tends to be alot more useful to them then trying to use the active strengths of the Abrams.
This could be slightly improved by having a ussr like tank and a usa like tank in eachothers TT. (Like the K2 for usa and T14 for ussr)

What’s not fine is spending money on a game you think is intentionally hurting a large chunk of the players because of their IRL biases.
He’s constantly talking about propaganda, bias and whatnot but he still gives them money, which is the definition of supporting a game. This behavior doesn’t make any sense and is pretty much deranged.

OP is talking about modern tanks, usually complaints about russia are 10.0+. Where a lot of people spend most of their time now.
It doesn’t really get a whole lot better than the turms aside from a handful of t80s that feels much better compared to t72/90 variants but still significantly worse than western tanks. BVM is the only tank that feels modern and still blown away by basically everything at 12.0 in terms of handling.
Throw manual transmission and stop era from performing like it does and russia doesnt have a single tank that can even see 12.0 let alone be placed there. I wouldn’t mind but russia being excluded from 11.0-13.0 matches without uptiering via planes and just spawning light tanks would probably piss off a large portion of the playerbase. And russian bias would still live with players complaining they are fighting t90m in 1990s leos and abrams.
I have them all ground out - I simply just play 9.0-9.3, instead. 8.3 is nice, too. 10.7 is nice if you have 292 and 2S6. Just because you have top-tier unlocked doesn’t mean you have to play it and stay there.
Every tree in this game has fun BRs and not so fun BRs. Play the fun ones.
People tend to complain the most about current tanks though. It would be like telling US mains if they think abrams suck to just play lower BRs instead. You can imagine how well that would go over.

How do you guys feel about 11.7?
Its the last lineup I’m kinda looking at with the last preset slot I have left and looking at the options kinda irk me a bit.
The premium t80 basically has double the turret rotation, better thermals, and 100+ more HP than the TT and squadron one, so I feel like a doofus even bothering to slot either of those in. Not sure why the new t72 is 12.0 instead of 11.7, I guess something that mostly affects survivability against CAS is worth a .3 br increase, and it loses relict so its not even a straight upgrade. I don’t mind the t72/90 on longer range maps, but this just looks like another lineup you need to paypig like 10.3 because the premium is leagues ahead of the TT stuff.
I wish reverse was a thing with Russian mbt’s 😮💨
