That’s why some of the Belgian F16’s were originally denied was because of the Radar HMD reports being uncertain in answering if that was possible iirc.
tbh i have no clue as i have seen no official statement from Gaijin nor response in the bug tickets made over the other website

Indeed ; i try to foward stuff as much as possible when it is somewhat related to Belgium as in my eyes the BeNeLux tree is realy sad to see in his current state

Sent over a message to Technical moderators ; was left on read for now :/
If you don’t get an answer within a few days you can add more moderators from the list ( You can find all the teams and the areas they handle listed here: (Who is who and Reporting Procedure) ) to the original message instead of sending a new message (that way you preserve the date of the message and it doesn’t look like a new request), adding one of the moderators to the message every 2-3 days or so until you get an answer.
Please do not to add the seniors until you have tried all other regular moderators, the Seniors likely won’t answer unless they are added and pinged by the regular moderators but if you’ve added all the regular moderators with no answer then you can add the seniors.
They also need to add MFDS, EHSI, and remodeled RWR. The cockpit is so sloppy…

All moderation teams are volunteers, we have normal jobs/school/families/hobbies/etc. A response might take a while. It’s been 4 days since i wrote that post, so if you’ve followed the instructions there should be like 3 moderators in your message out of the total of 19 (14 regular and 5 Seniors). It’s really not that long to wait for a response especially also over a weekend at the start of summer.
AIM-120A and B in game are identical, and if an aircraft can use the B it can use the A. This means both are valid and legitimate on the vehicle.
For the Sniper TGP, it counts as armament so it is passed as an internal suggestion rather than a bug. A bug would be if the vehicle has something it cannot use, not something it can use. E.G. the F-16C could theoretically use AIM-120Ds, but that’d move it up.
Well other F-16AM at the same BR has the Sniper ATP ; so that shouldn’t be an issue

Honestly, I just unlocked this jet after an intense grind, and I was incredibly excited because the stat card and wiki literally say it has HMD. But finding out in-game that it doesn’t work for the radar at all is completely disappointing. It’s frustrating to see how the tech tree version gets left incomplete for over 2 years, while the new premium copy gets the proper treatment with working avionics mechanics.
Historically, the Belgian MLU with the JHMCS system could absolutely slave the AN/APG-66(V)3 radar to the helmet for quick ACM locks (HMS PD). There are official flight manuals proving this in reports that were ‘accepted’ years ago, but Gaijin just locked the threads and ignored them.
In my opinion, keeping the tech tree version nerfed while the premium gets the actual capabilities at 13.7 is a huge double standard. The code and mechanics already exist in the game files for the F-16 family, so there is no technical excuse anymore. Gaijin really needs to stop treating this as a low-priority suggestion and finally fix the radar HMD for the French tech tree F-16AM
Likely it needs a new bug report made and pushed to Smin or Gunjob. This isn’t the first time a vehicle has been left broken but it could also be intentional. The Finnish F-18C is the same BR as superior models with better RWR and HMS where it lacks those.

There is a LOT of other nation that could get the Sniper pod: no one is being silenced or so.
It’s not just France and Sweden getting ‘nerfed’. it is in mmy opnion that they are reducing the range of optical pods to 20 then 30km, so having a pod with a good thermal that can zoom enough is a good thing they kept for not copy-pasting and still having diffeerence between nations.
But now, the Sniper have been exported a lot since.
