I mainly only play ARB to get CAS for GRB but I’m looking to do some serious improvements to help my overall ARB experience.
Out of all gamemodes, ARB is the only one I will drop tons of money to avoid grinding the tree to get the plane I want for GRB and then just GE the modifications to avoid the headaches (did it for the entire last 3 ranks of Japan to get the SU MKM).
Every time I play top tier ARB its like my missile never hit. I have some examples of my play where I’m just not getting hits and it’s upsetting when I perform maneuvers like this I always get hit but when it’s the other way around my missile simply decide to ignore everything. I might get some luck here and there but this is annoying considering majority of these exact situation spamming chaff and performing the same move does nothing. Doesn’t matter if its headon radar or not headon chaff or flares it’s always the same story.
My pilot passes out but SUs seem to always have an ease turning and never passing out then flinging 50 radar missiles at you (they were not IR). Pre chaff and everything didn’t matter.
This scenario I shot him and he manages to shot one of his micas even with chaff his missile did a complete 180 degree turn. I don’t know why replays don’t show it but his nose was pointing down shots his missile and it does 50billion g’s and gets me.
I don’t end up killing him but the SU on my team does which is ridiculous my missiles miss even at the close of range but the SU up in the skies gets a hit when he is chaff and flaring nonstop. Ignore the TKs it is super common in ARB I just stopped caring.
Overall, I can go all day about this and I still do manage some good matches here and there but I’m tired of only getting maybe 2-3 kills at most then 1 or no kills back to back. No matter how close or far it feels like these missiles just never want to connect even in the most ideal situations my enemies just always have no problem.

Your enemy is actively in the notch, spamming missiles at him makes it easier for him to defend everything since they’re coming from the same direction. Your only option is to fire some at an Off angle or 9M’s. Hes simply in a better postion to defend against you

You should’ve probably died to the first missile but you got lucky. You entered the fight going mach 1.1 while your enemy was probably sub 900. Thats why he didnt black out and you did. You can upgrade your crew to expert to mitigate this abit.

Why are you pulling up against a rafale? even if he didnt shoot a MICA and you forced the merge you lose 100% of the time. After your 120D failed to kill him, you run away. You mightve even killed the eurofighter too.
4th Video:
ofc your missile didnt hit, he drove it into the ground. When firing at low alt against a target close to terrain, try to lob the missile up ( a solid 15-20 degrees) so it comes down at the target and now horizontally at them.
From everything so far it sounds like youre just bad at positioning. Watch some air youtubers and follow how they play. It’ll be even better if you can find them playing the same vehicle you are to see what youre doing wrong.
I would suggest going high at the start of the game (and not multiapthing the whole way) till 3-4km to the left with the team.

The target was pre-notching, AMRAAM was a bad call as they were easily defeated.
Id have used 9Ms.

Su-30s are kinda magic, but crew skill is a BS reality of top tier. The difference between even expert and ace is massive. Too large imo. Also try deploying your airbrake to slow down, and drop the Gs
Do you have G-Suit unlocked too?
Clip 3:
MICA have really good HOBS performance and you werent gunna win a WVR fight against a Rafale. Little can.
Also why are you flying an F-15 at tree top level to begin with, you are just massively nerfing yourself for no reason. Stick at 15-20k ft.
Clip 4.
Your missile was defeated by Multipathing. The R-77-1 was likely coming down at an angle which mitigates MP. Try lofing the missile up to adjust its tragectory, though IR or guns would have probably been better.

I did manage to destroy him but his missile after he fired past me did a full 180
This guy did the exact same thing from 12 km and kills me easily?? Notched 2 of his 4 missiles and still catches up for a kill. I was closer this this other guy by 9km or less.
No, completely different shot.
Notching means flying at 90° to the radar. This forces the radar to swtich from PD to SRC to maintain the track where it is affected by chaff.
In your shot, the target was flying 90° perpindicular to you. The missile then just went for the chaff.
In this clip, you are flying away from the launch aircraft at short range (and R-77-1s have a LOT of speed and great time to target, it was always catching you)
Delploying chaff basically does nothing.

90 degrees on these and they will still connect even with Chaff. I fly at the tree line cause the only reliable kills I get are flanking the enemy flying the F15C and spamming missiles does nothing even if they’re headon. Same scenarios against france or russia and I am cooked.
I looked at youtube and all they do is fling a missile turn 90 degrees get a kill but all streamers do is show their best clips and it’s never consistent. I am convinced they get bot lobbies when you bring Gajin money.
I think I’m good I’m just going to stick to GE for the last aircraft and call it a day thanks for the help this is just dreadful and annoying.

I would suggest starting with something like the F-18A or F-4J and building up the fundementals from there. Jumping to the F-15C GE is a HUGE leap

bruh, ig you need to watch different yt channels. No one is firing and turning 90 degrees and getting kills against people with brains
dude you didnt even try to notch that rafale. Try to see where the missile is coming from instead of flopping around, especially at close range
