The map is too big ig? I can see it work with smaller map than EC sized map and without literal divine punishment from down under slapping your ass if you dare fly slightly higher than takeoff height. Clearly need a lot more work because radar at this BR just flat out doesn’t work at times. but this is fun if there’s more player and less Divine AI.
God damn any chance the accuracy on those Shilkas could be turned down a bit? They have the accuracy to shoot my pilots haemorrhoid from 3km away while going near mach 1. Even in other modes like Sim EC the guns SPAA are just way too accurate.
The defenders have a very strong advantage but overall I like this event a lot.
The AAA should definitely not be nerfed, it’s actually a threat like this and if you know what you’re doing you still dodge all their shots.
To make it a bit easier on the attackers you could make the SAMs shoot earlier. MAYBE give the defenders one less respawn. Or keep the respawns the same but have 3 or 4 fewer players on the defender team.
The selection of players is obviously unbalanced. Everyone wants to play for the USA, but no one wants to play for the USSR. Because of this, there are huge queues. The lesson from the WW1 event has not been learned, unfortunately
Also, why the hell do players get charged (SL) for losing vehicles in this event?
Fully loaded F-4Es fighting against MiG-21Bis is horrible, even a clean F-4E will struggle against it. Having to do SEAD while also evading contact is borderline impossible.
ZSU-23-4Vs are way too accurate. They will instantly snipe you from 4km+ away and will only radar lock after you have already died.
Heli damage models are still bs, losing all weapons capability because of a single hit is a horrid game mechanic.
The redfor really should have MiG-21PFMs or any other early variant, it is absurd having 21Bis in this
