I want to transfer the progress of my PlayStation account onto my pc account that already exists and i don’t want to lose. Could someone help me with this issue. Basically I want to merge the accounts, also i have access to both accounts if that’s needed.
Umm they don’t do account merges, but they do account transfers from console to PC. So basically your PSN account will be copied into a PC account, but it will not merge with your existing PC one. The transfers are also not available right now.
Also, it’s against the TOS to have multiple accounts so one of them, if not both,ight get banned for that

I tried binding my psn account with my pc to transfer my psn progress over as I recently switched over to pc, ive binded my account but my psn progress isnt there?

You can’t bind/merge a PSN and PC account if that is what you’re trying to say.
The only way for you to play with your PSN account on PC right now is, binding and email to the PSN account then downloading WT on the PC then logging in using the email you used to bind your PSN account with.
Full transfers from PSN to PC are not available right now
