I’ve had an account since 2014, and I’ve already spent a lot of money and time on my account. It’s disrespectful to customers/consumers. My friends and I are in the same situation. We no longer have consoles and we play exclusively on PC, without being able to enjoy the platform 100%. This is ridiculous!

It wont be. The dev has already said they arent working on this at all.
They would rather spend their time making copy/paste premium vehicles rather than actually improving their services or the game.
They need to quit allowing people to link accounts if they arent going to offer away to unlink them.
Right now they have half a working system which is creating alot of confusion/anger for their customers.
Funnily enough the linking system has always been automated (at least as far as I know). Sure was easy enough to make that happen, even in the time before chat GPT could write a program for you.
The easiest/obvious solution to all this is for Gaijin to get over themselves and rework their loot box system so they could get along with the console companies and offer a true cross play experience that doesnt require multiple accounts.
This makes even more sense given how many different games Gaijin offers that all have to use your account, and if you have a linked account you are blocked from playing some of them.

I started playing War Thunder on my PS4. Later, I switched to PC, only to find out that I couldn’t purchase any packs, planes, or even a premium account from the PC store—which, by the way, has significantly lower prices than my country’s PSN store.
So, I ended up buying a premium plane through PSN. But guess what? It turns out that the premium account I bought on PlayStation doesn’t transfer to PC. I was honestly like, what the f***?
I had to use the Golden Eagles that came with the plane just to buy another premium account on PC.
On top of that, we console players don’t even have access to the marketplace. It’s completely unfair and honestly feels like we’re being punished for playing on console. The whole system is frustrating and borderline exploitative.

Every time I feel like going back to this game I remember this situation and I don’t want to play anymore. I had been playing on consoles since 2014, switched to the PC in 2018, finding about console account limitatio only then. In 2022 I applied for the unbound (at time it was closed) so from there I didn’t pay more attention to the situation (my fault here) and in 2024 shortly after May, having read that the requests made before 05/24 were accepted, I asked support if it was possible since my request were almost two years older, needless to say that they went ahead with the usual answers. Funny we have no ETA about this, since like all the other ex console player I wanna put money in the game.
Is there any news on when this service will be back.

The console companies arent really preventing this. Gaijin them selves has set up a predatory gambling system that the console companies (and us players) dont approve of.
There are a few other games out there that have a market place similar to war thunder’s, but the console companies allow it.
