Across the servers, code stays the same with user data. Gaijin uses Python for anything related to server operations, and automation. So a Python code would be used. I’m taking a python class right now, and from what I understand, the automation of the account transfer could be written in a couple of days by 5 or less people.

This game is in somewhat of a downward spiral. From what I’ve noticed over the years, the premiums they sell keep getting more and more expensive while the quality of everything including vehicles, maps, out of game services, and overall updates have dropped. Not to mention the whole shutdown of the Asia servers presumably to save cost which was the worst thing to happen to the game, and now this? Its been many months and yet here we are still waiting with a noncommittal comment from someone who speaks for the game. Seeing this kind of pattern while the game again presumably is making more and more money raises some questions for me personally. Anyway I hate to see a game I’ve played for so long look the way it does now :(

Same. Why would I spend 80 dollars for something that is nearly the same as the tech tree one? Yeah, that is a waste of money. Remember when they said they don’t want to let players buy their way to the top (I know you are watching mods) and yet still do. Isn’t that a bit hypocritical?
Just stop checking, it’s almost safe to say it’s not coming back for another year. Gaijin doesn’t seem to have their priorities straight check back like every other month just to be sure but I’ve given up hope.
I agree lets hope it comes back soon but most likely not unfortunate:/

It should not take this long honestly. like i get it sure but why if its such a big issue hasn’t it been automated yet? like c’mon. I tried getting in the December one but nope. the reason why traffic is such and issue whenever you open it IS BECAUSE YOU KEEP CLOSEING IT, just leave it open and sort through them at the same pace. at least then i would have to keep checking every now and then for it to magically be open again. IF IT IS SUCH AN ISSUE- AUTOMATE IT

When it was open, it didn’t allow me to transfer or do anything and it was very frustrating

We are becoming tired from waiting for the account transfer to come back. I understand that there may be some issues with it and that Gaijin is working on it, but many people are waiting, including me, to be able to access features that console accounts can’t. I hope the problem gets fixed as soon as possible.

This thread, the comments, people still encountering this problem and then having to search everywhere for what/why, the fact that I had to practically beg you to change the name of this thread to something more appropriate.
Only THEN to find out that:
It’s not temporarily on hold. It’s simply not happening as last time was too hard with the current manual system… shock/horror imagine having to do actual work instead of an automated system.
So, make a better system.
Or employ people to work on it full-time - surely Gaijin isn’t short on money.
I imagine it’s purposefully manual to prevent people from abusing automated systems?
Turning people and their money away makes no sense in any profitable business model.
