Honestly everything you need to know could be found right here, a lot of us have been waiting for the resumption of the transfer process and a few of us almost had it done. My advice is to go to the support page’s FAQ and follow the instructions perfectly before you submit your request when it does resume. That means binding an email, piss away all your GE (you can’t take it with you). Provide gaijin your email that you’ve binded it will be used to log in to your new fully fledged PC account, and they need to confirm this so if you do it right you save them some time. For the love of god, do not mention steam there is no way to transfer anything to or from steam and they will try and mansplain that even whilst consenting to the transfer process. This happened to me because I got too excited and said yes I consent to the transfer please transfer to ‘steam name’. They go no it doesn’t work like that and some time after they closed my ticket poof, gone. No transfer. Don’t do what I did
Learn from my mistake, cuz honestly this sucked so much that I’d hate to think that it would happen to anybody else especially when they had it in the bag. This is why I’ve been waiting for over 9 months, checking this forum. Begging support to reopen my ticket… don’t make the same mistake I did.
When and how do I know it’s open?
They will end up making an announcement about it. You’ll just have to check the forums consistently

I’m aware. I wasn’t using specific terminology. I was simply saying that they will “announce it” in the forums saying that the transfer will be open again and we just have to look for that topic/announcement
I really wish they’d give us some sort of time frame on when it would come back. I’ve spent easily $1000+ on this game over the years and would gladly spend more, but I’m starting to become reluctant to continue spending my money on an acc that doesn’t have access to the market. i desperately want the Somua SM and i cant even get that with my acc since it was made on an Xbox. had i known id have this issue i wouldn’t have sunk my money into this acc and would have just started a new one when i moved to pc…

Once again - if you just want to play PC version (for better FPS etc), you don’t have to wait for anything. Download it from official website and use Xbox login option or the email you linked on the console. You are also able to buy GE in Gaijin Store with your Xbox account.
You can purchase GE in Gaijin Store, you don’t need a console for it.
Really wish I could’ve sold my kfir coupon or traded it for something like LOSAT but I suppose I’ll have to buy it if and when my account is ever transferred. I have the BI so you can imagine why I don’t want to restart all my progress.

Maybe you tried it a very long time ago. For the last 4 years or so you can use Gaijin Store for GE purchases with PSN account. Or maybe you’re confusing your different accounts, you have to use the one you created on the console, not a separate PC one (the one you’re using for writing on the forum is the latter).
