Amazing how he is stuck on this, while ignoring that the console bound account doesnt have access to everything the PC account would.
I never said people couldnt play on PC with an Xbox account, And i do believe this is the first time i mentioned hardware at all.
Also, If I have a PC, and am playing on it, why wouldnt I want all the features that come with being a PC player? Having better hardware is the reason to move from console, once I have the ability to play on PC my account shouldnt be limited.
The “higher ups” are clearly using a Dollar Tree knockoff version of a magic 8 ball to make their decisions.
This is where that starts. And by complaining here, maybe, just maybe, itll reach the “higher ups” faster.

We desperately need this service back soon; people have been waiting more than a year to transfer their accounts and just keep missing out on more and more PC only deals. its honestly really dumb that this ever went away.

And on top of this service being gone over a year, there hasn’t been any real updates of any kind alluding to when this is going to return.

I’m starting to think that there never gonna open it again and I can’t just restart all my progress just so I can switch to PC its bs on how much the console players miss out on sales and I just don’t understand how I can’t purchase packs either unless I’m directly on my Xbox I know you can buy ge but it won’t be the same I’ve been debating on throwing in the towel and giving up on this game.

Ok, we understand - no limitation on console vs PC. But what can You tell peoples who sold console, wanna play on PC with full options in the store? Why i cant use marked, or can buy only Golden Eagles in the store when i play on pc with xbox account?

Usually the Account transfer is every year. Starting somewhere near to war thunder´s birthday and holds until november

Yes you will. But the vehicles will not show up on the tech tree on PC, you will have to buy them on the PS5 then switch back to your PC. Go to the PS5 store, buy the pack/s you want, load up the game on your PS5 and make sure the vehicles were added to your account, then you should be able to switch to PC and have access to them.
If you had already gotten rid of your PS5, then you are probably SOL for buying anything in a pack as you can not do it on the PC.
It would be a nice gesture to the community that is affected by this problem to have a little more communication regarding this situation.

It would be, but the devs have made it clear there wont be.
I get that the process might be more difficult than people realize. But tbh idk why more people aren’t put on the team for this specifically. Gaijin would make LOADS of money from people like me waiting on the transfer. Id be inclined to buy way more stuff if I had access to market and more frequent sales. Console sales are rare and irregular.
