Just here to throw my hat in the ring and say I really hope this service is brought back soon. Spent a lot of time and money on the game and this would allow me to get what I want. Missing out on skins and the marketplace is frustrating for someone who has been on PC exclusively for over 2 years now. Can’t even get pack vehicles without access to a playstation.

Sad part if they allow accounts to be transferred they would get even more money its genuine a win win situation for them and yet they don’t allow us to transfer so we can actually access the gaijin market, like il assume its not hard to separate 2 game profiles for 1 account one that gets only updated while playing on console and the other while on pc

Guys, if you have questions about moderation on the forum then contact the Forum Moderators in private. Discussing moderation in public is not allowed. You can find all the teams and the areas they handle listed here: (Who is who and Reporting Procedure). If you don’t get an answer within a few days you can add more moderators from the list to the original message instead of sending a new message (that way you preserve the date of the message and it doesn’t look like a new request), adding one of the moderators to the message every 2-3 days or so until you get an answer.
Please do not to add the seniors until you have tried all other regular moderators, the Seniors likely won’t answer unless they are added and pinged by the regular moderators but if you’ve added all the regular moderators with no answer then you can add the seniors.
Criticism about the transfers is fine, but don’t target/insult people, don’t discuss moderation and please follow the rules in general as well.

Based on devs’ answers it’s sadly not coming back anytime soon (it might even never come back -_-)
I have spent over the past 10 years some real money on War Thunder. It would be more but I will not pay full price seeing pc accounts get 30, 40 even 50%.
I would be willing to pay a small fee that would help cover employees that would move my account from Sony to PC.
I just went and looked a premium jet that I would own, if I could have got in on the sale this summer, but as it is I will play the game less and spend less money.
Gaijin You obviously think there’s no money in moving PS and Xbox accounts to pc or you would do it. I tell you speaking for myself I would play and spend more because it would be more fun.
Set up people moving accounts full time and charge enough to cover their wages. I would pay and I think others would too

When will the option to transfer be avaliable again? I have my console account but ive played with it on pc for years.
I really dont get what makes them ignore this issue. People who transfer will bring in money via market etc. that they wouldnt spend on things that console offers. Lately I want to transfer even more than before because i missed the MiG-25 event and getting it via market would be the first thing I do when i transfer.
I also wonder, if Gaijin has better stuff to do why dont they ask players to help with automating the transfers. Post on socials info about help and promise to award it with intresting rewards like GE, Vechicles or premium time and im sure there will be people intrested in helping.

True, letting us transfer not only earns them more cash but partially could prove that Gaijin does listen to the playerbase… sometimes. Honestly thats a win win situation so I’m really confused why it takes soo long to implement it back. We get to keep our progress, we get more options (market, pc sales etc) and Gaijin gets more income and something positive to brag about.

I’ve just realized the transfer situation is so bad Xbox and PS players are not arguing which one is better but are working together in trying to make the devs do something abt this :)

um don’t forget we cant even buy stuff least on Xbox from the Xbox store either you’ll have to get on said console and buy it from there if you still own it

I think we’re reaching to the conclusion that either they aren’t able to fix it, or they aren’t willing to prioritize it. It also feels like there’s very little tolerance for discussion. This is because the thread would have been probably grown far beyond its current size.
The longer they stall this situation the bigger the audiance for transfers becomes. It still suprises me that the proces of using AI in automating the transfers is still not being discussed by any of the devs or mods. They allready have the experience when using AI.

I put the original post " Gaijin losing money" in the general discussion forum because I think the person or people at Gaijin that can fix this are not aware there’s real money to be made. I know nothing about what it would take to move accounts from PS or xbox to pc. I do know about profit verses loss and a bit about legal contracts.
Gaijin was moving accounts at one time and then stopped. SOOOO
- It’s costing them more than expected, not even worth their time and effort
- legal issues with some much bigger fish then Gaijin wants to tangle with
- The people at Gaijin that could fix this are not even aware of the issue.
I have said I would pay the primum to move my account from Sony to pc and would even argue if Gaijin did this correctly, they could profit just from the action of moving accounts and make their costumer happy at the same time. Why not do this Gaijin???
If its legal issues you can say its "legal issues " and leave it at that even if you signed some sort of non-disclosure agreement. I’m no lawyer so someone here that is let me know if this is wrong.
