A suggestion report with evidence for the Italian Tornados can be made and passed for consideration. Ultimately it will be down to the devs to decide what to issue AS 34 too. As it was with Sea Eagle which was added from the reports made on other carriers.

Only has a photo for the IDS early. If some material for the 1995 and RET.8 it can be accepted for all 3. If passed now it would apply to just the early.

Now in the case of GR4, There likely wasnt any Sea Eagles left in 1997 (only 3 in 1993 when the FA2 were “fitted” with them) But does that mean the GR4 couldnt have been fitted with them in theory? Im not sure…

Id apply the same logic to the 1995 and RET8.

So might be a bugger to report.

It’s kinda my fault because I found out that it’s still NATO restricted in the current Italian technical directory, I should have just used it as a source without saying anything (it’s been used on the forums before)

Nice. Thats probably your best bet.

Also information on when AS-34 was retired (if it has been) and what aircraft equipped them. Might help.

If they were still in service in say in 1995 and the only aircraft in service that could carry them was the Tornado… It makes a fairly reasonable argument for the IDS (1995)

Yup, I updated the report and also included the 1995 version because it didn’t have any major changes to systems and also I’m pretty sure Kormoran was still in use during Balkan wars
