It would be similar to the Gr4 at that higher BR though no? Maybe somewhat worse but not terribly so. It could offer some extra variety in the TT.
GR.4 offers a little bit more, including a HMD to couple with its 9Ms.
The current setup on the RET 8 allows it to be a decent sidegrade to the 1995 with some additional kit to go with and stay at 11.7.

The GR4 is barely playable at 12.3 and it has a number of upgrades over the A200C.
I think a lower BR is always preferable to better AAMs for a ground attacker. Id probably give up the 9Ms on the GR4 if it meant it could be 11.7

yeah… a200c is a straight upgrade and if its not getting the BR increase because no L/i, then 1995 needs a br decrease. just makes no sense to have a straight better aircraft at the same br. 1995 already sucks at its br so a br decrease would be nice

On the other hand, it has lower br in GRB.
eh the normal ids has no point in game and is only 10.3, i would think 1995 at 11.0 would be more fitting (nevermind tornado IDS has moved up to 11.3 which is wild)
I hope they have also implemented the armament proposals I made; they have all been approved (Lizard and EBGU). I see that the main wing pylon (the one that usually carries the fuel tanks) has the dual launcher for AIM-9s.
I wouldn’t pay much attention to that. All the Tornado models in the game have both AIM-9 rails in the Asset Viewer, even though only the ADVs use them both ingame.
Per real life, IDS don’t seem to have ever carried 4x AIM-9s
It’s not really sidegrade though. Sidegrade suggests that it trades some advantages of the 1995 for some new advantages, but really the RET 8 is just better in every way. There is no reason for the 1995 to exist anymore.
Thank you for the information. I have never used the asset viewer. In fact, it seemed strange to me that they gave a non-historical buff to an Italian aircraft.
