well yes it can carry and fire it, but it cant lock it on a Radar by itself, it needs an ELINT system to do that just like Literally every other ARM carrier SEAD/DEAD plane too
its like Buddy Lasing for Paveways, you can have an ECR do the Radar Locating and a second IDS carry additional missiles

So in worst case scenario, if we propose changes, Gaijin will simply add AIM-9L stock on ASSTA3
to restore fairness

Yes and no. As far as I know, the HARM has a passive seeker that can detect radar emissions across a wide frequency band. The ECR version is certainly more effective at this, but as far as I understand, it’s not necessary.

They are very much still meta, a CAS player with two braincells will have no issues against top tier SAMs
Saying otherwise is just cope.
Even with the F-16C uptiered to 13.0 ground I’ve had few issues with SPAAs, especially IRIS-T.
Buk is the only real scary one but that’s handled pretty easily by either playing Russia/heli/spamming glide bombs/minranging

Also has no IR or TV guided bombs like the British tornado gets.
