It will function like the AMASE on the AH Mk.1 as its the same sensors from the same company. I’d suggest turning the slaving off with the Y menu and just act on the warnings manually, this is my preferred way to us all MAWS in game.
And simultaneously bring the range in ahistorically to make them have to be employed at point blank. If we’re gonna be doing fairness, we might as well go all the way.
HEY when the dev service could be open?
thanks a lot
Fly low and bomb toss a JDAM. It’s pretty easy to counter.
Presumably we’d also then have to account for the disruption of Kh 38 being able to outrange opposing AAs and engage targets that become obscured in ground battles before we implement it, right? Except that didn’t happen.
We’ll have some news shortly on this. Stay tuned :)
Then it should be implemented. Limiting air player’s fun in killing bots because it could disrupt a ground player’s fun in an entirely separate gamemode does not make sense.
So,would gaijin please provide any evidence or photos that Kh-38MTE is adopted by VVS and been mounted on Su-34 or Su25 in service?
semi-related but I would love it if the game “remembered” whether I had MAWS slaving on between sessions
Its been mentioned to me once today already, @Smin1080p_WT think we can nudge that suggestion to the devs?
Fair enough. But I don’t think all-aspect MAWS turns an 11.3 aircraft into a 12.3 aircraft. Even with 9Ms and HMD. There will still be little you will do if a F-16 or Mig 29 gets on your tail
It’s way easier to say that than to add it. I suspect that the devs would have to spend an insane amount of time just making it work, and it wouldn’t be worth it.
Eventually stuff will get better capabilities once proper counters are in place, so you’ll just have to wait.
With air to ground ordnance that means you’re nowhere near more effective at ground pounding in air either.
Yes, it’s possible for sure.
We’ll see, if it does struggle I’m sure the BR can be adjusted.
We both know that isn’t true. It’s a tornado.
Alternatively, they can fudge the function as they have on other ordnance.
In the same tree.
I understand that you can’t have the brimstone with LOAL right now but we want fire-and-forget mode on the brimstone like the AGM64
They said the same thing about separate air and ground BRs. This is clearly important to people, and I believe it should be implemented.
This will also have the added bonus of allowing both the devs and playerbase to test out highly advanced AGMs before they get added to GRB, thus catching overperformers before they mess up an entire BR bracket for a couple of weeks.
Imo they should also do this with A2A missiles and tank rounds. Allow us to test advanced versions in test drive or custom battles that otherwise aren’t available in the main game.
Basically:
Give vehicles full historical armament in test drive & custom battles
Limit armament for balancing reasons in ground and air battles.
Gaijin isn’t going to lose any hype because people can test out a slightly newer missile model that looks exactly the same, most people only get excited for new vehicle models.
We’ve been asking for the same with the tornado Gr1 for over a year. I won’t be holding my breath
