You can, but the BOL were one of the major changes from the GR1 to the GR4. So would be historically accurate. Also an extra 320 CMs ontop of that count would help a lot for what is ultimately a fairly weak 11.3 airframe to fight against the top tier 14.0 Fox-3 slingers.

idk how the series of countermeasures is determined but my worry is that it would use BOL first / Intermix flare calibres, making it less effective when you may need it to be its most effective
also I just realised that it doesn’t get Hindenburg tanks, will any of the other nados get Hindenburgs
F3 Late does. I did ask about them, they prioritise everything getting one, despite them being fully modeled in game. So might be a while before we get them. But yes. I really want them, especially on the GR4.

As for the CM usage. Id hope it would use BOL at the same time.
So Dropping flares would go
BOZ Flares + 1-2 BOL until you use up all the BOZ Flares then it would use TERMA flares + 1-2 BOL
When you chaff it would use a BOZ Chaff + 1-2 BOL.
So they would just make your existing CMs stronger.
If it needed to use them in sequence, then yeah, should use them last.

yeah if we get upgraded to the Brimstone 2 its gonna become a fairly decent missile in air and very nice in ground,
gotta see how the current brimstone is yet, currently 193k away from the GR.4 trying to keep the grind fun by using the GR.1 and using PGMs for base bombing at 4000m at ~20-30km away, makes its range useful and test it, surprisingly effective and doesn’t place you into the meat grinder straight away, and the 1200 chaff makes notching extremely easy, if your bombs miss then you can just drop into the fray, new tornado FM makes it surprisingly able in my experience of taking the offensive even against MiG-23s and F-14s

Yeah, I’ve got to unlock the brimstones yet but as a SIM main, I’m screwed by the lack of a 12.3 bracket so only ever face mig-29s and higher.
But the lack of FnF limits their value greatly in sim. Better to run ePaveways and PGMs.
Looking forward to messing with the IR PGMs, especially with the buffs. I had terrible issues with them so never bothered with them much. But used them as ASMs on the dev server and they were awesome.
And yeah. Brimstone 2s are needed. Brimstones 1s even with FnF have less potency than even AGM-65 with wise of range and speed. Being SAL only on top of that screws them over much. Brimstone 2s would make them really decent to use, especially with the compression
Should nail a target at 50km when dropped from enough height…was nailing ships at 10km dropped from 100ft. Definetly believe 20-30km range dropped from 10k ft
