kinda? from what I have heard in mode 2 it would still need to lock a target before launching, which is the one most people want. it would then guide it with either IOG and then turn to the MMV seeker or it might use it the entire time unsure, either way all the MMV seeker would provide in this mode is the ability to see through smoke and maybe foliage but that one is up in the air

I’d agree with you if we had an IIR Brimstone and we were only given SAL. But no one has ARH A2G weapons. Russia also has options in this department and isn’t getting any of them either.

They have the best variants of the Tornados.

The devs can choose what vehicles they want to add there is no rules or anything for them to follow
the differnce is russia still is getting 6 of the best AGMs in the game and doesnt matter if they arent getting their equivalent, in mode 2 I would still argue the KH38MT is going to be better, because this just feels like people over hyping how good these AGMs are going to be and then they will come in a years time and people will realise they could have come now.
but we will never know since we couldn’t even test them, all I know is russia is gonna have an even more oppressive CAS monster that can defend itself as well now, and I think it should only have KH38MLs as they weapons arent as strong as the KH38MT.

2 fighters are very meh and now with the F3 late being higher then the F4F ice there isnt a contest on which one is better, and the Gr1 has the worst engines of any of the tornados and was made up with the PGMs
people have also given the idea on why britian got the GR4 is to make up for their awful ground, which if so would explain it since germany has one of the best ground line ups in the game

Isn’t broken, and isn’t nerfed. It’s just single mode, we have numerous weapons in all nations which operate in a single mode.
A single mode out of three is nerfing it, how is that even an argument?
Also nerfing/broken was in reference to British top tier. Look no further than top tier Britain in ground for several vehicles that fit this category.

I don’t want to discuss this, as it won’t go anywhere. The ICE is horrible, no questions asked. Doesn’t matter it’s going to 13.0 its still reaaaaly bad.
IDK much about GR Tornado’s, but I’d rather have them than the ICE.
edit: yall also get AIM 120Bs and 9Ms on the F3 Late … its better than the ICE.

Out of interest, if the 8BM60 was taken away from Russain MBTs would you consider that a nerf? The vehicle is still usable, it still has other rounds it can fire and can still kill every other ground vehicle in the game.
I would come up with an air example but I main ground so it’s easier for me to use that as an example.
I would agree if it wasn’t being limited to its worsted mode which is kinda a nerf when in reality we could have Mode 2

Personally. I have little faith in the Devs when it comes to Britain getting a mechanic “when it’s ready to be added” which is a major part of my concern for it.
Look at MAWS for the Gr7. We were told, “fixed wing MAWS is not a mechanic”. Then they add the F111A with MAWS and nothing. No MAWS for the Gr7 and we are told “Gr7 uses a different MAWS to the f111a and can’t be modeled currently” So will come when it can. 5 months later, we get the f111As MAWS and another 7 months on from that it’s still a placeholder.
“We will get this when there is proper counters”, is such an ambiguous term because what exactly is a proper counter? Is there even one? And will we actually get it if that day comes?
Brimstone is our (correct me if I’m wrong) only AGM for the Typhoon. If it’s not FnF by that point. We are massively disadvantaged compared to everyone else once again. My biggest fear. We’ll have things like F-35s before we see mmVs. This is also renders US and UK helis fairly DOA as I don’t believe either used anything other than either laser guided or mmVs and so neither will never get FnF which puts them massively behind the curve.

Hmm given it had it in its full form and then taken away, provided it wasn’t done for historical purposes, I’d agree that would be a nerf.
Exactly this. It’s hard to hold out any hope that things will be changed in the future when so many British vehicles are waiting to be updated. There’s so many bug reports for British vehicles which just sit in the acknowledged phase and then are never heard of again.
Just look at the AH Mk.1, it has been in the game for 4 years now and is outperformed by so many helicopters because it doesn’t have the ordnance that it was designed for. I had some hope after seeing Spikes added to the game but this article dashed any hope of any mmW missiles being added.
It’s all so demoralizing and why I struggle to play or enjoy Britain any more.

yeah kinda in the same boat I was looking forward to the update but seeing that we are getting just a worse ship for naval then our already pretty meh top vessel, and that the tornado is being nerfed but things that are arguably more broken arent I think im just gonna pass on this update
