No.
It was a joke, anyways the BM Oplot would be cooler imo.
Both. Both is good👍
This is true, I’m looking forward to them
I think Japanese team players should be able to enjoy the VT4. However, the VT4 should be placed before the T84 tank in the research order, just like the T72B3A is placed before the T90M. The VT4 is a terrible tank in the top BR. If Japanese team players really want to play the VT4, good luck to them and enjoy the 7.1 second reload and 577mm penetration in top BR.
I just wish Gaijin had put the M1A2T in the Chinese tech tree sooner. Currently, China’s top GBR MBTs all have a 7.1-second reload and 577/588 mm penetration, which makes them underpowered. The M1A2T and its KAW-A1 would effectively remedy this. However, Gaijin has yet to include the M1A2T in the Chinese tech tree, despite the M1A2T proposal being accepted two years ago :(
It should come before the T-84. Oplot is a good bit more survivable, however, depending on what Gaijin gives the Oplot-T, it might be equal or worse.
Soviet rounds would stop at 3BM42, with 3BM44U1 being a failure. Thailand seems to use BTA4 Chinese APFSDS for the Oplot-T. I heard it’s the export variant of DTW-125, which is only a tad lower in strength than DTC-10 125.
If it does get BTA4, It might feel like a tradeoff between better rounds and better survivability, though not by much. People still shoot weak spots or kill you from side/behind and DTW-125 to DTC-10 125 isn’t too far off each other.
I do wish the M1A2T comes soon. But… it is an Abrams. Even with the better round and fast reload, the turret ring is massive so I’m not sure it would be a huge leap better than current Chinese tanks.
As you mentioned it, give it BTA4 and you get a legit T-80BVM sidegrade with its advantages (better all-around and frontal armor + reverse gear) and disadvatanges (worse acceleration and thermals).
Even though this topic ain’t about M1s, it is still an interesting addition. Gameplay-wise the difference would be great, it is not exactly about getting an overall better tank but different gameplay under different circumstances. Like it is with VT-4.
In addition to owning the T84 BM Oplot, the Thai Army seems to have also customized and upgraded it, known as the T84 Super Oplot. I’m not sure how much difference there is between these two, but they seem to be two different models of T84M. You can find information about T84 Super Oplot in a previously approved suggestion. So will we have both T84 BM Oplot and T84 Super Oplot at the same time?
I think that’s the april fools suggestion lol.
cmiiw. :D
Ah, was that just an April Fool’s suggestion?lol
I thought it was true, so I tried to search for relevant information, but found nothing, and it even mentioned 2029, haha
Can we have T84 BM Optimus Prime?
Well, I already realized that it was a joke. I didn’t study it carefully before. The topic about it can come to an end.
fin.
I agree, the M1A2T should have already been added. I don’t see it bringing something so ridiculously strong that would cause it to not be put into the game.
It’s sad that the vt4 won’t be coming this update
Honestly, I really don’t think there’s anything wrong with adding the VT-4 to the Japanese tech tree. Back then, from the late WWII period onward, the Japanese line was stuffed with tons of American equipment, and we players even joked that it was “daddy saving the son.” Now stuffing some Chinese equipment in there just means they get another dad, and players get more variety to play with—it’s a win-win. It’s just that in our country, some wolf warriors are really dumb.
i dont get it tbh, the vt4a1 and thai vt4 whilst the same tank, theyre so different not even close in capability ingame.
End of the day it’s just a tank in a game. VT-4 would be nice, T-84 would also be nice. if we went by politics WT would probably be stuck in ww2 still
I come from a country that’s been invaded multiple times by Germany and ussr
So I get it
I had proposed already that the tank can be added another day
Maybe during Thai national day
As an event vehicle to make it clear and enforce the idea that it’s a Thai tank
Not Japanese
