So why Leopard 2a4m adds to Germany instead of the US/British if VT4 will be added to Thailand? Or we can wait like Singapore Leopard 2 add as Chinese sub TT in the future? Even we can wait for Algeria to add in France?
Because they are from America
Everyone should realize that it is impossible to discuss a topic out of touch with reality in a game which is based on the real world, especially in a game like War Thunder which has strong connection with reality. Gaijin should realize that the relation between CHN and JPN is unique worldwide so they can make dicisions more careful during the special days related to two countries like V-J day.
They already said they’re not adding it this update, oh my god can any of you people actually read?
It’s not this update or that update
They once promised no Chinese-made vehicle on Japan Tree
Just read this:
I was more directing it at cyber-1t78 in the comment posted above yours, I probably should have used the reply feature.
as a Chinese and the threads initiator, I want to say that everyone has the right to refuse or agree. for the vast majority of Chinese people, it’s not easy to accept VT4 being added to the game in a different format during this time. People from other countries may have similar or different opinions.
I also hope that everyone will respect the views of the Thais, the Japanese, and everyone on this thread. I hope everyone can respect and understand each other.
Conversing with someone you’ve never met isn’t as rational and calm as it is in real life. But I want to emphasize that this is just a game.
Agreeing or disagreeing with an opinion in a game forum won’t destroy or change anyone’s life. It won’t change yesterday, today, or tomorrow.
That’s a fairly good point.
Right now, we are keeping our language restrained and trying to avoid political discussion while conveying the Chinese community’s dissatisfaction about this matter.
However, the fact is that in the Chinese community, this issue has already sparked widespread anger.
Yeah, even as a Statesian, all I had to see was “releasing new japanese vehicles on Liberation Day” and knew that is a BAD MOVE.
Yeah i’ve been looking on CN forums and there’s definitely quite an outrage, especially given for a thing which is not even currently a matter of coming to game. IMO it’s best to just let the topic die down for now, at another time it’ll go smoother, and by then the shock will have died down. It’s not like it’s coming right now anyways.
That being said, uh, the T-84 oplot is pretty cool.
Yeah considering it was only coming from a leak and Gaijin has already come out and said it’s not being added, this level of outrage really sparked out of control fast. Best to let it die down and let cooler heads prevail.
T-84 Oplot-T would be very cool though. Excited about that.
Nobody wants to turn a game into a political debate, but this is inherently a political issue, and avoiding it won’t make it go away. Given that Gaijin has recently invested heavily in advertising on Chinese internet platforms, I believe they still aim to expand their presence in the Chinese market. However, this decision will not only provoke strong backlash from Chinese players, but could even result in War Thunder being completely banned in China. Furthermore, as far as I know, NORINCO does hold patents on the VT-4, including its exterior design. The controversy surrounding this vehicle could potentially lead to legal risks.
LOL, thanks for ur understanding bro…
But we’re not that kind of extreme, like, it’s really China-made vehicle into Japan TT thing, like, just as I said, the devs knew there’s awkward relations between two countries even for now, and it’s not like EU, like everyone’s in harmony now.
For reference, just read this:
Like a common legal tactic, Gaijin just said “this time” will not be added, but who knows, maybe Nov or Dec update they will try
Yeah, for more reference:
Why would it even get added to the Japanese tree anyway??
We HAVE a Chinese tree!
Moving a sub tech tree just because of the view of one country which produced a vehicle for them is honestly, not really that much of a reasonable or justified approach. It would be like saying sweden shouldn’t have gotten the finnish STT, because the MiG-21 in it was made by russia, who has historically had issue with sweden.
IMO, once a country exports a vehicle, it’s really not entirely theirs anymore, you can’t really blame other countries for having better relations with ones then the original country of construction.
If Gaijin has the guts to add Algerian vehicles to the French tech tree on November 1st, then I wouldn’t object to the VT-4 joining Japan’s tech tree in September ))
You know they won’t stop until you start handing out mutes
Please, keep in topic about vehicle itself.
