I still want to see the VT4, the Thai ground tree cannot be complete without it. It’s a very important tank to them and this might even result in VT4’s performance being improved.

Yes, and that is what is happening. The upcoming September update is the cause of these issues, right?
3rd September isn’t even a confirmed release date for Thai VT4 yet people became angry over that. If gaijin had announced that date then the anger would have made sense but being angry over a leaker’s words is totally absurd.
It’s the opposite, they have confirmed that the Thai VT4 is NOT coming in the September update.

Type 60 is a lot better, if you have the time please do the Japan/Thai discussion page a visit and at drop the official designations! Wish stuff like this is as accessible as the RTAF ones
Do you think the leakers and the authorities are not collaborating? If that were the case, the authorities could have sued them for stealing corporate secrets or other charges, but they didn’t. Moreover, the leaks are often very accurate, so it’s highly likely that the authorities are cooperating with them.

In that case, you have nothing to worry about. It is not coming in the September update, and likely not even this year.

theres a thing i noticed about chinese and korean players in WT. moment japan gets anything thats “theirs” or something that doesnt fit their narrative = its bad
meanwhile blatently ignoring literally every other nation having controversial lineups etc
e.g. Germany and poland, china and taiwan
what in the hell happened to people? has twitter just invaded the heart n soul of literally everyone? to whine whenever something isnt what they want?
and I know a mod will probably remove this for “inappropriate or harmful” but congrats welcome to the new age of the internet

Hopefully that’s the case—after all, none of us want to see players fighting among themselves while the officials just stir up drama and count their profits.
We are not releasing a VT-4 currently for the Thailand Sub Branch in the next major update. We have already been clear on this that it is not coming in this major update.
There was no offical announcement or comment that it was going to be in this major update anyway.

Britain with Indian vehicles and probably to get an Indian sub-tree in the future. Also Britain with South African vehicles, where the large majority of South Africans especially those that were young in the 20th century despise the British but we don’t care as its a video game and not a place for us to vent our political frustrations since they have no place on these forums. (Worth noting South Africa went through 3 years of bloody conflict with the British before we were subjugated and turned into a colony and this happened in the early 1900s as well, before the great war in fact.) I don’t see much of a stink being made about those vehicles/lines being in the British tree. Nor will I, its a game, it doesn’t mean anything and there’s no political ideologies at work to undermine entire groups of people or nations.
