No, you’ve misunderstood my point. Vehicles on the Chinese tech tree are exclusively either domestically developed/produced in China or captured – that’s non-negotiable.
Thailand operating the VT4 isn’t the issue; the core problem is placing Thailand under the Japanese tech tree.
A viable compromise would be adding Thailand’s VT4 as a premium/squadron vehicle to the Chinese tech tree. After all, this would still let players access a tank purchased and operated by their own nation’s military.

Whether Japan has changed is not for them to decide, but for the victims to feel. Past mistakes don’t mean people today must “pay for them,” but they must acknowledge and reflect on them—otherwise, the issue becomes today’s attitude. If we truly want to move on, there must be mutual respect; putting a Chinese-made tank under a Japanese flag to fight the Chinese tree on a key memorial date isn’t reconciliation, it’s provocation.
