What I am saying is to talk about the VT4 as the tank itself with no nation tied to it same way someone should be able to talk about a Leopard example oh yes this version has this engine and this armament etc.

Isn’t the Thai VT4 like pretty much the same as the new VT 4 in the Chinese tec tree
I heard multiple times that it’s been custom made for the Thai military but to what extent? Just stuff like FCS and the text inside the tank or actually sth big
Yes, besides some minor visual differences (the new Chinese VT-4 is the Norinco demonstrator) it’s just about the same.
The only functional difference might be that Thailand uses BTA4, which is a bit worse than DTC10-125 the Chinese tank gets currently.

Is Gaijin ever going to release a statement on the Thai VT4 and its status?
It was confirmed by BVVD on stream so I am wondering if that’s now changed.

Maybe, I feel like it really sounds like a classic Gaijin move to hold back Thai VT-4 as an excuse not to fix any of the issues the Chinese have brought up.
