Tokushu Heiki: Assemble and test an honorable missile to obtain prizes!

You don’t. It just speeds up the assembly of the missile.

Are you connecting to the internet with WiFi by chance?

Yea, around 60-70 as the event comes to a close is more usual, IIRC. Once the event ends the ‘big’ prizes are usually around 50 and the prices slowly rise from there. Selling for 30 $Gaijoobly already seems very low, bearing in mind prices are likely to drop even more before the event ends.

If anything, vehicles this time around are possibly more interesting than usual. Sure the ship and yet another F-100 are nothing amazing, but the rocket bomber and LOSAT seem genuinely interesting/unique. Perhaps all the hurdles placed in front of those who would otherwise simply sell mats for GN$ means many players haven’t earned a great deal on the market, so there’s less cash in the market?

OH MY GOD , THANK you i had no idea that i need for some faking reason to select everything except the broken one i failed so many times … gajin has truly went this low over the years

Weird, i just lost my level 1 upgrade as i began building the next missile

No you dont have to upgrade. The upgrade only makes the missile assembly faster for one missile “cycle”. After you test a successful missile, the upgrade goes away.

no, it’s not internet issue cause other gamemodes (air rb, ground ab/rb, naval ab) works fine, i suppose it happens due to naval RB servers being flodded by premium bots

How long does the test report preparation take? (the combination of 20 documents). I dont plan to get more than just the plane, and thinking I could finish it tomorrow, unless theres some ridiculous 12h item prep time or something that would make it exceed the deadline of coming monday.

Is it possible to get 2 coupons for Ki-48?

10 minutes I think.

Cool, I have 4 hours to play in a week, I spend money to get only ki48 and I find out that there is such a thing as a damaged racket and I have to build another one or two of them… Thanks gaijin

So sellable containers are maximum of 20 drops through whole event? I thought the limit was just 20 and you would be able to get it if you’ve less than 20 but it seems liike I’m not getting it anymore

Yeah, that appears to be max. Im almost fully maxed on crates and progress data, and only got that many in the beginning, and no more. They are reusable fwiw, so if you buy some, you can reuse them. BUT there are nearly 50,000 of some of the mats up for sale now at $0.10 so pretty much you will never sell any at this point.

I’ve got 2 test reports and need 7 more of those things to assemble 3rd. I can only get 6 more before the event ends. Had they been available on the market I may have saved some time and bought a few but alas your nickel and diming bit you in the arse there!

GG Gaijin, another satisfied customer…

The full TDR (batch of 20) is available on the market. Buy that.

Done and done, thanks, completely missed that. I’ll go be old and grumpy somewhere else…

So that’s that for me. I ended on 309 crates out of 360, which gave me enough mats to finish with a market play (I could have done it in 305 but I wasted 4 boxes on seeing what happened if you put wrong answers on the test reports), 101 out of 120 data sheets. That with gaming the market concurrently gave me the 1,512 mats needed to construct two high tier coupons, I currently have another 2.5 GJN worth of mats on the market that may or may not sell, and 8.5 GJN in hand to pick up a Ki-48 to play with in a week, so I’ll get 3 vehicles out of this for no $ and 85% max effort.

Basically I sold early and fast, picking up 11 GJN for mats, 6 for the first TDR and 1 GJN for a bundle of first places by the first weekend. I then bought back the TDR along with a second one so I didn’t need to finish the sixth TDR at 3 GJN (close to market low; it dipped below 3 for a little bit, could have saved a little there), and 3.30 for 33 mats to balance out gaps on the last build. All my remaining mats are on the market; all I have left in inventory is the 1 lone test data sheet, 1 empty mat box and 20 first places.

Anyway was fun to try to min-max this one and succeed for once.

I didn’t HATE this mechanic this time? Although I lost track of where I was in the 18 missile tests a couple times (really a counter of some kind was necessary) and I kinda resented having to burn those four boxes just to confirm the “every third missile” test pattern for my Squadron and people here, making me play those few extra games today. I really shouldn’t have to do that, the explanations the game provides should be clearer, even if it breaks the event gimmick.

I also think the cap on sales to 20 more than you bought for PC players was a little TOO aggressive. While it has kept the market from doing its usual total collapse this time, it meant this time the most efficient strat for a PC player was to go for five-sixths of the max prize and buy the last sixth (which is what I did, I just arbitraged it by selling off early and then buying back late to stay cash-positive). That’s just silly.

The mats were very generous in the boxes in total, average, including test boxes, of ~1750 mats, total, if you maxed out, when you only needed 1,512 to complete two full builds, so everyone who maxed the event was inevitably going to end up with 200+ unsellable mats, even with some wrong guesses on the test. This was foreseeable. While it seemed to replace the thousands of earned mats that couldn’t sell due to the market glut at the end every time before, it doesn’t really… it just shifted them around in inventory. Even a market cap of 40 or 50 mats per player would still have left a lot unconvertible, but it would still be better than only 20 out of that 200+ having any use. As soon as I saw that I scaled back my play and went for efficiency.

(PS: The other problem I had was the thing that rhymes with “clots” that we’re not allowed to talk about was just out of control in naval RB, I didn’t think it could be worse than April, but it was. Easily 70% of every single player roster in nearly every game in that mode I was in (bouncing between BR 3.7 and 4.3) was being done by automatic play. After two events in a row, and two years of this, RB has to be realistically seen as the game’s third PvE “assault” mode. The only difference is people are selling their own player accounts back to the company to be their “E.”)

Sold 20 materials (max permissible?), completed 6 tickets, got 2 vehicles and there still left tons of unused materials.

I think the F-100F is very underrated - it’s the best plane for destroying bases for the chinese at high tier, plus it have countermeasures , thing other F-100s don’t have.

Same for the Kurama - you have 8x200mm canons as secondary artillery - think how you can use this. And a very reasonable br. 6.

The LOSAT is a must have eccentric vehicle who can be a interesting tool in …Assault Arcade.

ye, assault arcade looks perfect for LOSAT, however i cant agree with Kurama, broadside is 4x12ich + 4x 8inch, both with slow reload and not the best accuracy, ship looks cool, but ingame at 6.0 there are much better ships

I love supporting a game with money via Premium time and buying a Premium plane during the sales, only to have them make an event that gives the middle finger to casual players like me. I don’t think the review bombing did enough to change the anti-player culture at Gaijin. A game event should never be a 2nd job. Its completely disrespectful to the playerbase.
