Hey snails !

The Tog II in game was modeled with only 101MM of armor:

I made a bug report 1 year ago but was declined because there was not enough sources !

The Tog II should be 114mm in front instead of 101mm claims by the this video !

I say it all the time, I’ve got reports over 8 years old.

If you feel like it you could try making another report maybe using these sources as well:

1. - Internet Archive: British and American Tanks of World War II: (Pages:78 & 79)

2. - Tank Archives: Landships Left In Port:

@Scärlett Do we have any info on why this is counted as Cast armor and not Rolled?

Not my photo, just nagged off Discord from the Armoured Archives server.
The outer plate is just 4 inches thick as seen in-game. What can’t be measured from the outside is the internal 1/2 inch think mild steel backing plate the outer plate is mounted on which brings it up to 4.5 inches.

Backing plates are the same reason the Churchill’s UFP is sometimes reported as 4 inches thick when it’s 3.5 inches when measured from the outside.

Yep, I’m aware of that. Its missing the internal layer everywhere where it should have it. There are other reports which were accepted years ago. The turret front’s outer plates are also meant to be thicker.
Take a look at these reports: (last one is my recent one)

Also, thanks for the info on the Churchills, I had no idea they had a similar issue.
