should we introduce vehicles we know nothing about?
I mean we do know most relevant things. We know the gun, the ammo, the APS, the Powertrain. Everything we dont know is either not modeled in the game or its the armor which Gaijin doesnt care about anyway

where did you read that the german one doesn’t have a lws?
The picture clearly show that the LWS is missing.

@WereCat888 @H_ngma additionaly its confirmed that norway leos are lighter, while german ones are heavier armored on the side.
In that regard anyone aware what the D-LBO basic is?
Might mean other stuff like rcws is just not mounted yet either

They said its able to automatically detect and counter drones. How? Is there a Trophy launcher on the top or wha? I can’t really imagine this.
it is possible that the upgraded Eurotrophy with its IR sensor package can detect drones coming in from afar. this does not rely on the EuroTrophy radars so it could be a possibility especially seeing as the german 2A8 does have the cutouts for the IR sensors.
keeping in mind that it seems that the 2A8 is not ready for service yet, pending some possible LWS, RCWS and other smaller changes, it is logical to surmise that the Eurotrophy is probably one of them.

Damn, seems the Leopard 2A8 is not really rolling out. Looks more like its a base version. Its also missing the advertised LWS. Obviously missing anti drone system. We still have to wait how the final service version might look like.

As always, what company offers are not operators choose. It seems Bunderswehr don’t choose LWS and anti-done while Norwegian army choose LWS.
The article we shared literaly talks about how germany wants LWS but it isnt integrated yet, since we want a german solitution. And the anti drone feature etc

Better wait until its final. With Bundeswehr camo. All wanted features and Y- ***** license plates indicating its an active Bundeswehr vehicle.

Überdies legt Norwegen größeren Wert auf Gewichtsreduktion, weshalb im Gegensatz zur Bundeswehr auf schwere Kettenblenden verzichtet wurde und ein Unterboden-Minenschutz zwar grundsätzlich möglich aber noch nicht montiert ist. Während der deutsche 2 A8 gemäß D-LBO basic ausgestattet wurde, verfügt sein norwegischer Gegenpart über entsprechende nationale Funktechnik und Battle Management Systeme.
This part is quite unreliable as in sight, Norwegian version has longer armoured side skirt than Germans.
