I’m expecting nothing but the best and at the same time a type of vehicle capable of being so annoying for the first days and in the worst case scenario for weeks, which is why if we’re expecting Leopard 2A8 at some point we should expect in par counterparts as well, but this is a huge if, I wonder when Gaijin is adding new top tier main battle tanks other than pushing for more modernization crap from twenty to thirty years ago.
It’s covered, Sweden has an even better 2A8 trough Norway, they got delivered at the same time today
with LWS + a bit more side protection.

The question is what sort of 2a8 do you want? If you only give it DM53, it’s really just a 2a7V with an APS. So very soon. If you want a better round(DM73/DM83) you’ll probably be waiting quite a while. Also what’s that on the left, out of curiosity? Looks pzh 2k shaped. Is germany buying more or?

If it was vehicles from five to ten years ago I won’t be complaining because we’d have actual new top tier vehicles, I’m mentioning older modernization from the 1990s and so on; there are a lot of cool machines from the end of Cold War that I urge to be in the game but these modernization stuff from decades ago should not be the priority, one of the reasons that I evade top tier is because the experience in top tier has been dated for years without a change, specially in ground vehicles.
Yeah but as we can see not all 2A8 are the same, it might be that the Swedish one might or might not have LWS and the Side armor could be different than on either German or Norway one
But in the case it doesn’t get LWS it can get the Norway one anyway
And again i can see Sweden having 2 top tier MBTs (STRV 123B and NOR 2A8)
And Germany having 1
germany has more options with Leo 2 arc 3.0 or KF51
its even more likely norway is just gonna be a skin as well, purely possible as well
TV host said its got more roof armor. Better overall armor. Is able to detect and counter drones automatically (?). That sounds like it has some kind of better top down protection.
Also Sweden is not taking part in the Leopard 2A8 project. They’re out for now.

Well its easy. Rollout its just for Ger and its ally Norway. All other orders will take many years.
