It has been awhile since I last posted, but lately I have found one of my biggest issues that is holding me back from air realistic battle success is my crap aim. I found that my trajectory is off about 75% of the time resulting in missed opportunities. Also, can I get recommendations for ideal gun convergence? I mostly use the P-51Ds if you need an idea of what I can do.
Thanks!

im worse than you
Pick ur vehicle, go to test drive, and instead of going to test drive hit the gray button in the bottom left. U should be able to practice ur aim quite well there. If only i followed my own advice and did it myself…
idk after I play for a while, I kinda see my own “target lead indicator” that pops up to help me land shots like arcade battle
either you play long enough to get used to the gun’s velocity or you can go play arcade battle to help you aim better (i think)
I’d just practise in arcade till you get the hangar belts, you can also use tracer belts since they’re great on US aircraft. Personally, i set my gun targeting distance to 600 and turn off vertical targeting
I had (and still have) two strategies. The first one is test drive to see how a gun handles. This is pretty helpful for getting used to a specific gun with its unique ballistics.
The second is pure practice in battles, it’s the best way to get good at it. Shooting doesn’t just require estimating lead, it requires enough habit to just know where to aim without thinking about it, and that requires lots and lots of failed shots to learn
always lead more than what you think is right
Yea, my biggest mistake is undershooting
shooting further than you think is right has two benefits, the first one is that it’s easier to correct in one way than the other, and the second is that async will make the planes not appear where they are so your lead is always smaller than you see it
