So i just got the F3H-2 im super happy so im looking for tips to play better with it. By that i dont mean “Dont use it” or “dont use AIM-7’s just use AIM-9S” im sick of that i hear that far too much i know its helpful sometimes but not right now anyways yeah thats all
actually ignore people saying you shouldn’t use aim7
its useful for intercepting bombers and spaceclimbers, even with its very weird launch envelope

my tip is to skip the plane lol it sucks
It can pull really well for one or two turn but it bleed speed like a pig getting gutted and it’s really slow to regain speed so you’re dead. aim9b is… well, aim9b. aim7 it has is also garbage unless the enemy is flying in a straight line.
Go research something like f104 or f100, they are much better pick for the BR

Well i would if I had the F-86 line passed the P-47 and Owned the 2nd king Cobra i need to buy that whole line
damn bro thats rough. F100D line is like where all the good fighters are at the BR ur at. A-4 also sucks at air RB so i’d also skip it unless u want it for doing CAS in GRB, which its decent at. Stock grind for it is ass tho.
Actually I forgot that F8U is right after the F3H-2 and i see that ur already researching it, I’d say to get it ASAP cuz it’s an amazing plane, one of my favourite. It’s pretty much a american mig21. It’s fast, turns well, good energy retention, decent missile, etc. I’m sure it wont disappoint you. I put talisman on my F8U and it helps me speed through 9.0-11.0 grind

always bring 2x AIM-7 + 2x AIM-9

If you want to use the aim-7, don’t use ACM; That mode sucks on the F3H-2 and you won’t get a lock fast enough to make use of it. Use narrow search and manual target selection only.
Also, do not turn fight unless you are in a 1v1 and you are the last two alive.

Well also since im actually pretty bad at air a huge issue for me is repair cost the 12K sl repair for the A-4E was well made it hard to break even i needed like 2 kills or 2 bases
Point: I dont know Glad the F3H-2 costs less
A-4 can be amazing if you equip it with gun pod and go for head on its, an absolute monster
It’s just really slow and mostly out-classed by most fighters at 8.7 – especially after they moved down all the Korean War Era planes such as the F-86s, CL-13s, MiG-15s and even the MiG-17s.
