Hello, i am a War Thunder Player and i can help some new goobers get their way to the top.
1: Which ground tree do i pick?
Well, this is a very difficult question. Many people would say The Third Reich, United States of America or The Union of the Socialist Soviet Republic, but for me, do what you want. If you pick Italy, no problem. Choose which country you want.
Grinding
If you are grinding, always play in full loadouts. Why? A few factors. Don’t play with only one or two vehicles in one match. Because, if you die in the start of the match, you wont be able to spawn in an Aircraft. Go often in test drives or in the armor protection analysis, as you can then know where to shoot your enemy’s.
Gamemodes
Often play air and ground as a combo. You can, if you know teh enemy who killed you his/her location, you can spawn in a good plane and counter other aircraft and revenge bomb. ARCADE If you are past rank III and you still play arcade, you should slowly start turning to Realistic battles. Before rank III, i recommend you play arcade/assault arcade, because there are less LVL 100’s there. Arcade also makes it much easier for enemies to spot you and vehicles are much more boosted in mobility. As in realistic, it’s designed for more expierienced players.
Premiums
If you want the grind to be less painfull, buy a premium, but at the ranges of II-IV. If you buy a top tier premium and die, you’ll be less expierienced than other players in matches, hated or made fun of (sometimes) by the community and you’ll be stuck with a tank of 1940.
Teamates
ALWAYS Help your teammates with repairing or other things if you can.
You will be more respected by them or sometimes even have a new frend.
Fun
If you feel like War Thunder isn’t really fun, play gamemodes like custom battles.
