In the latest F-18E dev gaijin said they will add rank IX in 2026 early,i think that’s a silly idea.
Rank IX means rank VII packs can not grind top tier any more(and so do all the rank VII planes),and gaijin won’t folder any planes,it also means new pre-order packs will have a higher price to buy.
Time to say NO!

So it should be valid to people with Rank V premium airplanes to complain about not being able to research Rank VII? This won’t work, the game has to evolve past 4.5 generation and being free-to-play doesn’t mean free-to-game, Gaijin has to take money from somewhere and premium vehicles may be the main income source.
Very dumb idea to refuse rank 9.
Alot of the rank 8 and 7 planes will see a major reduction in rp and sl cost which inturn make grinding for them easier, which sane person will refuse improvement in the grind with how rare gaijin does them.
I’d be in support of more ranks if the rank penalties weren’t so harsh for researching out of +/- 1 rank.

It is recommended to stop purchasing game packs this Christmas, because you don’t know how long some packs will be stored before they can no longer be used to obtain top-tier vehicles.
I grind using tech tree vehicles, which are better than premiums anyway.
I support rank 9.

Rank 9 should’ve been 4.5 gen planes then rank 10 be gen 5 imo

definitely should say no to adding rank 8 premiums as we dont need infiinte noobs at every br just stop at a point and allow higher research rank efficiency for end of the line premiums
I don’t have a problem with adding Rank IX, I have a problem with them doing it before patching everything else up first. I am more than willing to see 2026 be Big Refactor Year.

The bigger problem here is the extremely fast technology advancement cycle Gaijin is doing. Tiers and research bonuses are more of a symptom than the actual problem. It wasn’t long after ARHs were added in June 2024 (Seek and Destroy update) that Eurofighter and Rafael were added (Dec 2024, Storm Warning).
Sure, it’s been a year at this point, but ARHs are still massively underperforming in power/range across the board (with exception of AIM-120A and B). Countless historical accuracy bugs are unfixed and countless munitions are missing. Gamemodes are neglected, especially Air Simulator. And perhaps most importantly, there are many iconic aircraft missing, this is most noticeable starting at BR 10.0.
