As it was, so it came to be

History and origins:
Starting from its production in 1991 to its adoption into service in 2003, the Tiger UHT was a helicopter that was reliant on a singular weapon system for the full realisation of its combat capability. The PARS 3 LR ATGM. However, what happened in reality was not what the German MOD had really planned. The PARS 3 LR ATGM, while in theory, was ready and some trials had also taken place. How ever, Mass integration had not been done. In fact, the first batch of the PARS 3 was ordered in 2006 while the delivery took place in 2012. Up until then, the Tiger was missing its main claws… but not really. As the German air force later concluded, the PARS 3 was not up to the standards desired and nowadays, UHTs usually don’t fly with the PARS 3 at all. Back then, before the deliveries took place, this was the same case.
What also was different was the lack of the ASGARD (Afghanistan Stabilization German Army Rapid Deployment) configuration. As is obvious, this change took place during the Tiger’s deployment to Afghanistan, which was in 2012 when the first 4 UH Tigers were flown to the country [1].

The Tiger UHT (2011) is therefore the version of the Tiger that is neither equipped with the PARS 3 nor the ASGARD upgrades. This should give it around a 100kg lighter airframe and no access for PARS 3 LR, which would, in game, place it at a BR of around 10.0. This would prove a great CAS platform for the German lineups around that BR.

Lol there’s a comma

Maybe 11.0 ish? +1

10.0 according to Tiger HAP.

+1, The fact it’s such a modern helicopter with shit armament would make a nice dynamic for BR 10.0-10.3.

i would also like to see the model of the uht without the ASGARD mod…
( lighter airframe, no external Antenna ) but basicallly just a remaking of the flightmodel rn. bcs in game it doesnt say that it is the ASGARD version would be nice to have that changed.
best regards

hopefully they add both an early and a KHT variant (with THOR upgrade) so we can have a greater battlefield presence (think 12 PARS 3 LR ATGMs and 144 countermeasures… and if gaijin is generous, LFK-NG and RMK-30 autocannon)

I would honestly go without a cannon and even aams (for 12 pars) if gaijin just added the damn proxy fuse on the pars, it can already smoke all Helicopters except the mi28 if it’s smart and i killed a lot of planes with it even without proxy.

its missing proxy AND a whole kilometer of range lol

They changed the Pars physics a while ago and the only reason it doesn’t go more is because of the self destruction limit, it can comfortably kill Helis at max range (you used to only be able to get 5km, maybe 6) if you have a bit of altitude and angle it a bit.

It’s weight got reduced from 49kg to 41kg so that made it almost 20% lighter which will reflect in range and got 10G lateral acceleration, idk how that compares to g, but it’s hilarious it’s kind of comparable to the stinger (if it had proxy).

Many of my friends use it in place of the stinger lol.
Esp in headons

lmao imagine going through 2 BO-105 with HOT atgm, just to research another heli using HOT atgm.
This must have a lower br than the MI24-P

Ideally the Bo-105 PAH 1A1 should be a modification for the PAH 1. Then this comes in at 10.0 and we get a heli with thermals, chaff and flares and MAW. Imagine that eh?

Both BO-105 should be foldered. Still with the thermals, it has a slower and weaker atgm than the german mi24 (this also has chaff and flares). Not to mention the pain grinding the HOT3 with only 2 rocket pods.

Probably should get 2 HOT-3 on each inner pylon as stock.
That’s how most helis are supposed to be (except the Mi-24 lol)

would be nice if they just removed the external Antenna and reduce the weight by 100kg or so…
then we would at least not have the heavier ASGARD version anymore and they still could add an early version or smth like that.
